    Yeah, that is so much more convenient. I will just hike on down to my local mountain range twice a week and do some rock climbing to strengthen my forearms.

  • @iwatchvids520 I can see what you're saying to a point. But my opinion is that form is important in ANY exercise. Even if you aren't using weight. Good form is important for avoiding injury and I always try to use the best form possible, regardless of the exercise, if only to avoid injury and to get into the habit. It's so easy not to.

  • @FOMFAH2 ur dumb i use 25lbs for wrist curls and 12lbs for reverse wrist curls... you can get them stronger just like any other muscle

    Pushing yourself beyond what's sensible will ONLY get you injured in the long run. It might work for a session or two, but you are taking a gamble with your health that you can't afford if you're looking for long-term, worthwhile results. Just be patient.

  • Yes I have full ROM in each forearm thanks, "probably" even more than you as I do a lot of stretching of them.

    Its EXTREMELY hard to overtrain your forearms, as tthey are one of the most comonly used muscles in the body, and thus become very resilient to exercise and stress naturally. Thats why youve gotta pound them with seriously heavy weights if you want to increse your strength in this area. Low reps and heavy weight will have little hyhpertrophy (bigger muscle) effect but lots of strength

  • I don't think of myself as being a particularly strong guy in the forearm area but I can do this with 35s on one side and 15s on the other.
