@ukshrednoodle ~ 'The Big Breakfast' ?...fucking hells bells. This was back in the mid eighties mate, about 20 years before you were born. Motorhead weren't even booked for this, they turned up on the morning and played four numbers throughout this kids Saturday morning show. I was 20 at the time and I couldn't believe my bloody eyes, it was hilarious. Motorhead ruining that cosy little kids show was one of the highlights of the fucking 80's. I've still got the whole thing on Betamax somewhere.
Jesus, have been looking for footage of this for years...! It was from a show called saturday starship, presented by tommy boyd - was supposed to replace Tiswas.....yeah, right! This is from 1985 - I remember watching this first time around and my parents being somewhat bemused. Great upload - anymore in the pipeline?
yeah, mid 30's now but still seeing motorhead at least once year. Would be great to see overkill when you get the opp to upload it - I think they played Iron Fist too, laters.

Unlikely. The Big Breakfast ran from 1992 - 2002. The drummer here is Pete Gill, who was kicked out of Motorhead in 1987.

This was recorded in 1985 way before BB. It was Saturday Starship hosted by Tommy Boyd.

Nein, Pete Gill war wirklich SUPER!
Pete Gill was great with Motorhead and everything they recorded with him was outstanding. Every single song from the Pete Gill era is a classic.
