Everyone should remember that Birdy was either 14 or 15 when she recorded the song. So she wouldn't have the maturity in her voice like Bon Iver or Ed Sheeran. I think she did pretty well because she arranged it herself. Love this version and Birdy's.

Obviously nothing can compare with the raw emotion of Bon Iver's original, but I was pleasantly surprised by this! Ed sings it brilliantly, and has much more strength and emotion to his voice than Birdy.

To be honest, it's such a fantastic song that it compliments the artist, not the other way round.
