lou sings this song in the old sicilian dialect not standard italian. this is the dialect our grandpa spoke. if you go to italy they call you a mountain person (hick) and tell you to speak italian or english because they dont understand the old greenie dialect anymore. when our cousin from sicily comes to visit he still understands the old dialect but he doesnt speak much english guess ill have to learn italian when i go visit him in palermo

I don't know how i feel about that show, I've never seen it, but i hear a lot of NJ people don't like it for some reason or another. A lot of people don't like us and lable us bad things, but I came from a very classy NJ Italian family. Everyone thinks we're mafia, but most are not.
