  • Bruce Lee always number one fighter and one of the best martial arts ever rip in peace Bruce Lee you will always be the best

  • I am a big fan of Bruce Lee can this tv show be on dvd please it is call Long street Bruce was a great man even thougth I did not know him, but I wish I did. from Bruce Lee's number 1 fan Edwin Laino ps I would loved to have the show on dvd so I can see more of Bruce Lee, please.

  • Anderson Silva uses this(used this in his last 3-4 fights), and Bones used it in his last fight against Shogun to devastating effect. It's only just NOW that MMA tards are realizing the effectiveness of this move, and JKD strategy in general(longest weapon vs closest target). Bruce Lee is STILL way ahead of his time, and most people just don't realize just what is effective until they see their favourite MMA fighter use it in MMA.. sad

RIP Bruce, STILL one of a kind.. and we miss you greatly :(

  • dats wut i tell ppl u dont listen!

  • Carajooo como te admiro Bruce Lee , en estos momentos tan dificiles eres una motivación para mi .

  • whats the name of this movie? Thanks

  • fuck, wish he was still alive

  • first time i see a movie of him.....he is so cool, i wish i could read all his things he says here in a book again and again

  • JKD is always constantly changing for better and adding more what it's useless, etc, etc and that's what Bruce Lee want many to realize..... Lee was a genius and far ahead of his time.....

people has to do research, i can go on and on.... lol there are many summaries of JKD

  • Bruce Lee is the greatest

    RIP - Bruce Lee

  • JKD is basically a formless art, but it's a style without styles and according to Bruce Lee himself, he had not created new form of art or system...... etc, etc.......

check out Tommy Carruthers, a JKD practioner, the closest thing to Bruce Lee today....

  • Hey, he speaks good English...

4give me 4 being a bit disrespectful, but this is the 1st time I've ever heard Bruce speaks English....

  • hahaha tha man very cunning. time is tha master

  • he is young and talent forever.

  • Dude, Bruce Lee always will be Boss above everybody else. RIP. Guy was never given a fair chance during life. Too bad he had to die to truly be fully appreciated......

  • "Don't just move for the sake of moving"

A lesson I have to keep in mind...

  • The very purpose of Jeet kune Do is many combination of many artial arts and to adapt ones self in combination of those many martial arts to the desired 'technique' that suits at the present time. Meaning, there is no set style/technique as everytime something occurs (ie..fight) it is different, the opponent, his style/technique... Adapt to the occasion.

  • wrong fella, jeet kune do is a system handed down to bruces students, it is a system he created, you can create your own through other arts, but NEVER call your shit jeet kune do.

  • Stupid asses. If Bruce insisted Wing Chun throughout his career, he would've stayed as some common Chinese kung-fu actor. What's Bruce Lee's trademark? Fast lead kicks! Especially the side kick! My point: Bruce Lee moved away from Wing Chun and adopted many useful techniques from TaeKwonDo, kickboxing, Judo, Jujitsu, Kenpo, HapKiDo, fencing, and boxing. Bruce Lee's later concept of Jeet Kune Do was the very prototype of modern day MMA!

  • idk, i think that chuck norris is more of an mma guy because his style "chun kuk do" is literally just a bunch of martial arts mixed together, granted dana white did call bruce lee the father of mma but there's a difference between mma and jeet kune do, jeet kune do is real fighting

  • @dvushaj but the philosophies of JKD and MMA are the same......... so it's fair to say Bruce Lee is the "MODERN" father of mma...... and let's not forget, JKD is not an art or a style but it's Bruce Lee's Methods of Fighting and importantly his philosophies and how he wants his students to keep learning.....

Tommy Carruthers is the best JKD practioner i seen so far..... check him out!

  • @sharinganWS you are 100% right when you say it's not an art or style but bruce's methods of fighting and how he sees it because it's starting to seem more and more like jkd is going to be another style as much as i hate to say it, but as for the philosophies of jkd and mma being the same, i'll have to disagree with you on that

  • @dvushaj im getting what your getting at, we all have different opinions......

sorry for my long term messages lol....

    Peace:)

  • @dvushaj well i meant to say it's concept....... so yea......... be formless, and adopt your own style, etc, etc......

  • @dvushaj so in my view of what JKD is, it's a concept..... JKD and MMA runs same philosophies of Bruce Lee and JKD is basically always constantly evolving and same goes for MMA...... JKD teaches Lee's Fighting Methods as well as his philosophies which are the greatest concepts created by Lee for life and martial arts, so again you should check out Tommy Carruthers, a JKD practioner who has equal speed and power of Bruce Lee..... but then again all JKD practioners are too fast to been seen...

  • @sharinganWS oh yeah i seen tommy carruthers, i think that guy is probably the best fighter in the world as of today

  • @dvushaj bruce lee is the greatest martial artist, philosopher, inventor, etc......

so yea.... lol sorry for such so many mails lol ......

  • @sharinganWS oh yeah he was greatest in my opinion but as for the whole mma thing, it's too limited to be based off jeet kune do, i'm really not trying to disrespect but mma to me just looks like boxing and wrestling (with chokeouts) and a couple of head kicks which are pretty telegraphic, look up "bruce lee hk tv" it should be the first video, the one he didn't want to be filmed on

  • @dvushaj JKD is for of course for real fighting concepts but they runs on same philosophies of MMA, chuck norris was a karate fighter and learned the philosophies , methods, concepts, techniques, etc, etc from bruce lee and he created his own system like bruce lee said many times, to adopt your own water, etc, etc

  • @lyotomachida56 i get what bruce was saying i just don't think mma is like jkd, i want to say watch Octavio Quintero but i don't think that's really related lol

  • @lyotomachida56 i said that wrong, what i'm trying to get at is that i don't think mma is using the jkd philosophy, here's an example, i used to be a really emotional kid, i was so negative about everything and felt i wasn't good enough, i would almost always lose, even to people i was stronger than. but then i got into bruce lee and now i'm able to win in everything i do, i can't explain what i do when i win but all i can is that it's based of lee's philosophy

  • @lyotomachida56 what i'm mainly trying to get at is that mma fighters aren't really as good as everyone puts them out to be, i'm really sorry if i sound disrespectful right now but i've watched ufc more than a couple times and a lot of the fighters seem so emotionally tense and nervous, making them throw telegraphic and unnecessary strikes, jkd speaks directly against that, like in the book "tao of jeet kune do"

  • That is JKD , what else to say

  • awesome vid

  • wing chun is gung fu.Gung Fu is a chinese way of saying Kung Fu. lol

  • wing chun was the lady that invented this style in other words her name. kung fu is the chinese styles in general.

  • im sorry but wing chun was not the lady who invented it it was NUM MOY ( HOPE SPELLING IS CORRECT) but she was a monk who taught the style to a woman whos name was wing chun.

  • bruce lee says its correct to bite and hit soft spots to win against your oponents but yet i have never seen him kick anyone in the balls

  • ive seen him hit people's balls in movies (way of the dragon, enter the dragon, and game of death).

  • Yes... you don't see a martial artist kick someone in the balls during sparring (or in a film) because they don't want to hurt anyone. In a fight, it's a different story.

  • LOL

  • good advertisement

  • is jeet kune do the only martial art bruce lee knew and used???

  • I'm sure he knew "Smith and Wesson" style also.

  • haha. do a little research. JKD was a style-less style lee created from numerous other martial arts. he was mainly kung fu.

  • i was just asking so stop being rude bitch

  • i wasnt being rude, so stop being sensetive and get that sand out of your vagina.

googling something is a more effective way to get information than asking someone in a youtube video comment. just FYI.

    grow up kid.

  • sorry 96locfan was on my acc i forgot to logout and he left the comment not me

  • now that i look, you didnt even ask. it was 96locfan who asked.

  • read his bio, he was profincent in many practices, including fencing

  • no first he trained in GUNG FU then WING CHUNG

  • wing chun is gung fu.Gung Fu is a chinese way of saying Kung Fu. lol

  • They are the same thing fool. Wing chun is a style of gung fu/kung fu/wushu/martial arts whateva

  • Wing Chun Is Gung Fu. Wing Chug is a style of Gung Fu. Gung fu has a lot of styles.

  • i think it owudl be hilarious to see kimbo slice fight bruce lee i love kimbo but it woudl be hilarious to see someone so much msaller than him knock him out in liek 30 seconds

  • MMA and UFC is gay Bruce Lee would beat everyone there easy.....

  • That sidekick is sooo awesome

  • he is the fastest person ive ever seen...

  • Bruce lee's JKD had waaaaaaaaay more punching and kicking influenced martial arts in it. If Bruce Lee had a fight against a MMA fighter today i could safely say he would just take them out in a few hits if they got close. On the other hand im sure he may also of implemented some grappling into his JKD although i dont know this for sure, he may of just stuck to throwing who knows but the main thing was the punches and kicks. Thats my opinion

  • well in the mma and ufc there are restrictions to it which a JKD practitioners does such as eye gauging and groin kicking and even bitting so they would limit Bruce Lee however I think he would be undefeated for a while

  • well in the mma and ufc there are restrictions to it which a JKD practitioners does such as ee gauging and groin kicking and even bitting so they would limit Bruce Lee however I think he would be undefeated for a while

  • I sincerely believe he was the best fighter who applied everything.. But sometimes i wonder if he fight those monsters in MMA, would he still have a chance.. what you guys think?? Technic, speed, knowledge in how the body works(bruce lee) vs Mass, power, height, reach, repeated MMA training(Pride, UFC fighters).

  • Bruce once said "it's not what it seems" Referring to his skills. Most today laugh and ridicule the tradionational martial arts, including me but I know the traditional has great things to take from. Bruce was very spiritual bu for some reason he didn't show it, his speed and power were mostly from other sources rather than the physical training. mma fighters don't empty their minds, they just train their bodies. Even the most professionals today have crappiest technique, balance etc.

  • real power come from the mind

  • In the ring or on the street? In the ring I think Bruce would do well, maybe not win all of his fights since MMA is a sport with rules and Bruce wouldn't be allowed to use his favorite and most effective techniques. On the street those MMA fighters wouldn't stand a chance.

  • actually bruce lee would still win because there is way more to jeet kune do than what see in the movies bruce lee had time to think about all this because back in the day before mma was mainstream the owner of ufc asked to join but he refused why i'm not sure but between you and me i believe master lee could beat anyone take it from a jeet kune do practioner

  • dumb ass UFC started in the 90s how did they ask him to join a none excisting organizastion?

  • From your thought to your fist how much time was lost. No man a life have chance to defeat Bruce Lee.

  • This is *great*, man. Thanks so much for uploading this!!

  • wow bruce lee is the fastest figher ever seen.

he is cool bruce lee yeaaaay!!!

  • Thanks Bruce!

  • sick

  • very nice video... i borrowed from a friend a compilation of his great movies in dvd, his moves are fantastic...even his discipline. He is the best example that thin guys can kick ASS!

  • COOL...I LOVE Bruce Lee soo much. He's AWESOME!!

I love Bruce Lee's fighting, very natural and great unlike Jet Li or Jackie Chan they fight follow the line. Bruce Lee is the BEST and the LEGENDARY in martial arts. Thanks A LOT for sharing!

  • awesome!!!!!

  • This is from Longstreet with James Fransiscus...1971 or 1972 I think...and yes, it's about as cool as cool gets...

  • Man, Bruce Lee is the coolest. Ever.

  • totally. not even the worlds greatest martial arts today is no where close to bruce.

  • i would have to disagree because his mentality lives on but then again i have yet to see a martial artist who could compare

  • amazing, very rare.

  • WHat is this clip from? Is it available to rent or buy somewhere?

  • it is from the way of the intercepting fist im pretty sure it is available to buy

  • beautiful sidekick. bruce lee used the sidekick to its fullest potential. his sidekick is the best kick ever!!! also his round kicks.
