  • I'm actually a crewchief on the C-17, and that large grey box-like thing in on the celing of the cargo bay is actually an extended range fuel bladder: usually for overseas flights. The yellow straps are just extra supports in addition to those already installed.

  • great give our secrets away to the enemy.

  • That was totally in jest, just so you know ;) The rest of the video is far more damaging in that regard.

  • in the cargo bay you look at somthing with yellow staps on it is built in to the c-17 or seprate

  • I beleive that that is the wing spar

The yellow strips are to show the center of gavity

  • That would likely be a fuel tank.

  • HOTAS stick

  • why is the control stick of the c-17 it's like an fighter aircraft rather then a traditional yoke stick of an transport aircraft

  • Because of the fly by wire technology that has. very similer to the F-16

  • also if it its in danger it can react as fast as an F-16 or any other fighter thats y its a joy stick
