@mojack411 this game is worth getting twice.... don't, but thats how much its worth getting... I do have one problem though... I can't ever see this opening, or an english one..... I only ever see a blank white screen with the music..... I DID see something like this when I beat the game......but probably not quite this...

@Kurzidan I have the same problem with the white screen; try it in windowed mode and see if it works better. You get to the movie by sitting at the main menu and waiting for the beginning tune to finish and the camera to pan all the way to the top of the town.

@yellowfellow I used to be a long time Console gamer, I got tired of grtting blisters on my fingers from pressing those controllers, then I got tired of that stupid console wars where games I wanted was on the system I didn't owed. Until I saw PC games and the less corporate influence and mine control on PC, so I switched and been happer ever since. But I didn't know there where assholes like you that kept a lot of good games from coming over to PC, you guys or just as bad as the console corps.

psp takes about an hour to hack without having to buy anything.

the 360 you just have to take out the dvd drive and hook it up to your computer.

The localized Recettear demo I played is absolutely fantastic, and bear in mind I'm otherwise exclusively a blow-stuff-up-and-shoot-people­-total-helldeath-wooo! type of gamer. That is so very unlike me, but holy crap this game is really well done. Good enough that I was compelled to pre-order it immediately when I saw it on Steam. :D

The company that is localizing it is carpefulgur. Carpefulgur asked EasygameStation if they could localize it and will share in the profits once it gets published.

While they are not getting paid to do the localization they cannot release the game for free

Right now they are trying to find a publisher and double checking their work.
