@vamlltrm how much time did it take for you to lose this much weight m really looking for some motivation to cont.

  • I just stumbled across your video and I loved it, you are such an inspiration. You look amazing and you can see you are so much happier. I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 14 im now 29 and cant seem to loose the weight. I have been about 110kg for years now, i loose a couple then always put it back on. I feel so gross all the time, Its so depressing but your video helps. Hopefully your motivation can rub off. Keep up the good work.

  • @KiaKaha2 Awww I have it too & I know how hard it is. Dont let yourself get depressed and feel bad, that would only make you gain more weight and you'll hurt your body with all the negative emotions. Instead, channel that frustration, that negative energy into exercising. Make exercising a habit everyday. You don't have to do anything strenuous, just as simple as walking for 30mins everyday and increase as you get better. Also eat well, lots of greens and colorful foods. Take care of that body!

  • Good information. I found it helpful and useful. Thanks

  • wow congrats!!! I found out I had pcos in my first year of college when I finally felt comfortable enoughto go to a gyno after 2 years of no period. After that I literally took one pill, I do not know the name, but I think it was for lowering insulin and regulating hormones. After that one pill, I ost 40 pounds in about 5 months maybe less. I gained it back inabout two months after two years! Im trying again and its extremely difficult this time. Im trying without meds Ive lost 23 ibs and 5 per.

  • well done with the weightloss did you ever gain any weight back on? i was at a similar weight to what you were (230lb) i went down to 140lb within a long period but the weight never stayed off so i am my old weight again, what i am trying to say is it's a constant battle to keep the weight off when you have pcos our bodies will always be battling against us no matter what.

  • A good way of losing weight - first-focus.ru/tds/diet.php This is worked!!

  • your still fat

  • @Newbpwng I think she looks very healthy and beautiful! if you wanna see a fatty go to my channel lol... leave her alone she looks amazing!

@vamlltrm you look great! jealous? yes i am haha.

  • excellent video and some great info

  • Yeah i agree. I just had a baby too and put on weight with her. Im now on a strict diet and exercise program and although ive lost in measurements the scales arnt showing much. I just have to keep going and be patient. Did you end up joining the military or is that still in the making? My hubby's very possesive about his job and feels its for the men but he does support how badly i want to join. Just sometimes doesnt mind the kids so i can exercise.

  • @MsSweetflo The military is still an option for me. For now, however, I'm spending my energy being mama and supporting my husband as he works on becoming an officer. Are you on any meds for your PCOS? Why don't you message me. I get a little wordy and don't want to junk up the comment section for everyone :)

  • @vamlltrm Hi again- Not sure how to message you. Do you have email or are you on facebook? Id love your help with this disorder. Thanks, Mel.

  • OMG i just stumbled upon this and its given me a burst of motivation.! Vamlltrm i obviously have this terrible condition, am 32 yrs old and have wanted to join the Army for 15 yrs (in Australia). I always think ill never get fit enough and it breaks my heart but really there is hope. Thats all i want is to be a soldier and its a calling that i cant explain. I will lose the weight and change my life. My husband is also a soldier so it shouild be easier but its not- hes not much help to me.

  • @MsSweetflo i'm sorry you're not getting much support. That doesn't make it easy at all. Honestly, though, as supportive and wonderful my husband has been, the ONLY way I was able to finally lose the weight was when he wasn't around! lol Sometimes change doesn't come until you hit rock bottom, desperately fed up with something. That's why I changed finally. I gained back A LOT of weight during my pregnancy and it didn't budge for almost a year, until I got fed up AGAIN. Now, I'm down 60 pounds

  • P.C.O.S doesn't go way that easily-- you just made it go into remission hun. You'll always have the hormone imbalance( at least in a dormant state), you just cut down the severity of the symptoms by losing weight and good for you! that must have been especially tough. I'm assuming you had insulin resistance as well.. have you taken metaformin at all yet. I know it helps somewhat to see results sooner.

  • @Counterbrilliance did I say it went away? I shouldn't have since I do know that it never goes away, is just maintained. Thanks, however, for the comment.

  • @vamlltrm Well I didn't mean it like that lol. I thought you said somewhere that you reversed it or something, my bad -- really sorry. Good luck with everything.

  • @vamlltrm I've got PCOS too and I've gotten rid of the symptoms including the insulin resistance which caused it so I feel ya! Whether "went away" or not, you kicked it's butt!! @Counterbrilliance: I don't really think that comment was supportive or helpful, hun.

  • (msg 4)

i would really appreciate any advice or anything you can give me.

i'm only 19, i have my whole life ahead of me, and i don't want to live it this way.

p.s. i'm sorry this was so long. and congradulations on your weight loss.

  • (msg 3)

For the past 3 years i've been told by every doctor that it is going to be impossible to lost the weight and that i would never see my self any skinnier than i was when i was diagnosed.

my PCOS has gotten alot worse over the past 6 months- a year. i'm trying my hardest to lose the weight but it seems no matter what i do it doesn't go anywhere. it actually seems like i'm gaing weight. i hope to one day be able to make the change to happiness and hope.

    (con't in next msg)

children. There's nothing i want more in this world than to have my own child one day. my own little girl to have picnics with, take to the park, have a girls day shopping with my little girl. and it makes me so sad to know that there's a chance that can never happen for me. When i was watching this video i felt like crying, just knowing that it is possible to lose the weight, and to even have kids one day.

    (con't in next msg)

  • (msg 1)

i have PCOS too. i was diagnosed like 4 or so years ago. it's horrible. i too am fed up with being overweight, tired, hairy, childless, bitter and miserable all the time. i've been told so many times that there's nothing i can do. and the thing that bothers me the most, besides being overweight, is that the doctors say i will never be able to have children.

    (cont'd in next msg)

  • You are inspirational. Just found out I have PCOS and need to start this journey immediately so I can be a mommy! Finally, after 3 years of TTC I know where I need to begin! :)

  • I've been going through a lot of your vids - really great stuff.

  • You shouldn't say that this video was compiled "very poorly"... dont put yourself nor your work (or anything that you do) down... You're better than that!... As for your video, I think it was really well compiled! And I thank you so much for sharing your personal journey (and parts of your life) with us all... it's an honor and privilege to be a witness to it... God Bless! :)

  • Amazing! Thanks for the great ideas. I think they will go very well with the program I'm using through the reallifeforhealth website. Their system is really easy to use and it does everything. They have 1000's of different recipes to choose from and they help you build a fitness and nutrition plan that suits your goals. I'm happy that there's no fad diets, pills, or required supplements. I'm really impressed with it, especially since they offer a free trial.

  • Hi,

I was diagnosed with PCOS 3yrs ago, before then I never knew I had a problem. I hardly ate, mainly drank a lot of tea and had cigarettes. It's been a little over 2 weeks now and I have to date lost 10kgs by eating ... and eating healthy. I've cut out sugar, dairy, carbohydrates, meats. But I want help in any way possible to get more off... Its unfortunate for many of us who want to have kids and will be great parents and you've got others WHO ARE BAD PARENTS and they pop like nothing.

  • @CaramelBeautyzNZ I totally agree honey. I would love to be a parent one day. I listen to people around me complain about being pregnant or wanting to give their children away and I think, "Why?" Children are beautiful and they are our future. Just be glad you can have children so easily while I struggle with the matter.

I quit smoking three weeks ago. You can do it as well. I have faith in you. :-)

  • I wouldn't necessarily say weightwatchers isn't not doing it on your own. I mean I'm doing weightwatchers but I don't go to the meetings.

  • YOU JUST SAVED MY LIFE I have pcos to and have been trying very very hard to lose weight . me and my husbend have been trying to have a baby 4 six years .I was just about to give up but now I have hope if YOU CAN DO IT I CAN TOO THANK YOU

  • hi im nikki im 22 i have pcos i was dingnosed 5 years ago i lost 40 pounds and now i have stade at the weight 200 and want to lose 60 to 70 pounds. i need to kno how u did it plz tell me thx

  • WOW! I'm so proud of you! I needed this motivation!

  • I'm very happy for your transition to a better life! ^_^ And I think that even if there are people posting hateful and opposing comments, you should still leave your video up! You may inspire those, who are going through the same thing, to do the same thing you did! Your enemies are only posting hateful comments for plenty of reasons: 1) They envy your success. 2) They truly like you. 3) They're being a little insecure, which means they need to check their personality. So in short, congrats! =]

  • Hi! I have PCOS too and have lost around 18lbs since August. I have just started taking metformin. You're an inspiration, you go girl!!

  • Being in the military is such a waste of time and money. Think about it: You get PTSD and maybe die on an illegal battle field while corporations and "contractors" make bank on your corpse. What a way to live.

  • Hi I have PCOS as well. I am starting to change my lifestyle and am trying to lose weight. Do you have any suggestions or tips for me? also were you on any form of medication for you PCOS?

    thanks for sharing your story!

  • Congratulations!!! Thank you so much for sharing. I was diagnosed with PCOS about 3 years ago. And I suffer both physically and mentally about being over weight. I gave up many many times. You are really an inspiration and you have a beautiful smile.

  • Congratulations! I was just diagnosed with PCOS, and I was a bit afraid. I am very inspired by your story. I never really had a weight problem, since I've always been active, but I will always think of this. It is possible! Thankyou so much, I am so relieved of my future!

  • Inspiring video, thanks for posting it. I'm trying my best to lose weight. I've been using the "Belly Blast" program and it seems to be working so far..

    BellyBlastProgram(dot)com

    Have you heard of it?

  • that's the greatest thing ever! wow great job!

  • WOW..CONGRATS!!!! UR AN INSPIRTATION TO ME....how did u do it?...what was ur diet like and what exercises did u do?...

  • Hey Girl! Way to go on your weight loss journey, I've started a blog about my start to weight loss, so far I've lost 20 lbs but I have more to go, I also have PCOS and I understand how hard it is, what an inspiration you are!

  • Great video, and yea, losing weight is not easy, but it's POSSIBLE. The think is that there is soo many OTHER ways to lose weight. For example, my favourite is dancing to the music I love (2h/day). Or playing soccer with my kids.. there is so many funny and simple methods out there, and you don't even need to spend hours in gym. I lost about 30 pounds already. All those methods I discovered at w w w. weightlossdatabase.info <- this membership site is simply amazing and has some unique ways.

  • I'm confused. You say you did it all with no surgery or weight watchers etc. etc. etc. but then you have a link to buy a weight loss drink? How is that on your own? I mean, I'm glad you were able to do it and all, but the sales pitch you have here is super misleading. Best of luck to you

  • @caterpillergrrl read the explination about her account being hacked. jeez

  • oh, and good job on your journey. keep it up:)

  • WHAT IS THE NAME OF THAT SONG?

  • I recently found out I have PCOS. My husband is in the army and we've been TTC#1 for over a year. I think knowing he might deploy anytime puts on more pressure to hurry and have kids! Thank you so much for posting this, your such a inspiration! I'm definitely going to stick to dieting and exercising. Pure determination! (:

  • Aside from weight loss...which is important but does not necessarily preclude you from getting pregnant w/PCOS...you must also remember, you cannot be on clomid, metformin or bcp without proper diagnosis & proper monitoring so that you follow the correct treatment path. Not all PCOS sufferers are insulin resistant. Please see our latest video on PCOS with compelling testimony from two women who followed the correct treatment path.

  • Omg you dont even know how much this video has inspired me right now...I am really trying to loose weight. I have PCOS and after having my son I just cannot lose the weight but seeing you do it is AWESOME!!!=)

  • Very inspirational!! I have PCOS and have used that as an excuse for yrs! Your very relatable! Great job and good luck!!!

  • I've struggled with weight all of my life. I was underweight all of childhood until puberty set in. Then, I was like a balloon. I struggled for so long to just stay in my 1x clothes. Then I had my daughter and there was no stopping the weight. I'm up to a total of 240 right now. Doctors have told me it will be more difficult to lose the weight due to the PCOS I was diagnosed with at 17. But I'm so tired of it. My 3 years calls me fat and my husband rarely touches me. Any tips for me?

  • If anyone is interested in joining a weightloss community here on youtube feel free to come over to our channel and find people who have similar goals to yours. Its brand new and just getting started. Really good results btw, you look great!! Grats

  • I have PCOS and Hashimoto's Thyroidits... I am struggling to lose weight and want to have kids!

  • i have it, too. just a few weeks ago i went from 125 to 140 in a matter of days..usually fluxuate a few pounds, maybe 3-5, but this is ridiculous. and it WILL NOT go away on its own this time. it's so frustrating and of course, i'm overly emotional about it, stupid hormones. i'm only barely 5'1" so that leaves me overweight which is really depressing to find out. i used to be a size 16, i got down to a size 6, and now i'm afraid it's coming back..i can't seem to get motivated to do anything now.

  • I HAVE PCOS ALSO... AND SUGAR INBALANCE. I WOULD LOVE TO LOSE 50LB.

  • We do need to spread the word. I have PCOS too. I've lost OVER 200 lbs. I'm SO much healthier AND happier. MOST importantly.....my kids don't have to be scared I'm going to die from obesity. There are right ways to do it and MORE ways to do it wrong! Healthy, Natural is the ONLY way to keep it off :)

  • Good job :) We do have to spread the word! I have PCOS (had??!!) I've lost OVER too lbs NATURALLY. Doesn't it feel great!!??!!

  • I would like to say thank you for you inspiration. I have had PCOS for 4 years now, I am fed up of being overweight, and unhealthy and not being able to walk up a little tiny hill without gasping for air.

  • hi, i tried adding you on myspace so we can talk about things, anyway we can chat about this?

  • AMAZING!!!! I have PCOS as well and had my son 9 months ago and trying to get the weight off!!! What exactly did you do to take it all off?

  • You. Are. AMAZING! Your video inspired me to go from 245 to 215. I just got my frist period back in THREE years today! I know, TMI but you're my inspiration girl! My OBGYN is proud but, really he should be happy I found this video. You made realize I had to get tough and stop making excuses. Hopefully hubby and I will be expecting our own little one soon. Thanks again. I will continue watching this for inspiration! :)

  • I would love to know how you lost all of that wieght! Wow congrats. I also have pcos and I am really struggling with my wieght. Success stories like this make me feel more hopeful that I can lose the wieght.

  • keep it up...

  • This reminds me of my journey. I was also almost 300 pounds and I lost a lot of weight and joined the Army. More power to ya!

  • That's amazing and very encouraging! I was diagnosed at 14yrs old with PCOS and have battled weight my whole life. I did lose a lot of weight and got pregnant in 2006 (gave birth in 2007). While pregnant I gained over 110lbs from pre-eclampsia. To date I've lost 100lbs! My goal is to lose another 50lbs. Seeing this video helped me realize that I'm not alone! Thank you!

  • Hi, i was just diagnose for PCOS, im 26 years old. I am so scared about it, although i am starting reading more about the disorder and is under medication right, i still worry too much about it. I gained much weight and experiencing occurrence of acne and rapid hair growth as well as skin discoloration. I am changing my diet since this disorder affected my bloop pressure.

  • Very inspirational. Congrats on your weightloss and doing it all on your own. That takes a tremendous amount of willpower.

I also have PCOS and want to get pregnant. Losing weight may help, but won't know until we try.

  • This is so inspiring!! I also have PCOS, i am trying to get my weight a bit down and clear up my bad skin sooooo badly. This has pushed me more to want to do it, i just lack so much motivation. Im going to keep watching this vid to keep me going, well done to you

  • The formula to weight loss is easy...Eat less & exercise more! If you remember this on your weight loss journey it'll be a piece of cake* (which you can eat but not the whole damn thing. lol.) Now put the rest of those chips and dip down and bust a sweat!!! (5-6 days a week for 1 hour!! Add resistance training and interval cardio sessions and you'll see your body change quickly. Don't eliminate nothing from your diet...just eat less of it...more info at my channel!

  • ive lost 35 lbs in 85 days just by eating less. measuring my food and keeping track of calories.I eat 1300-1500 per day and im loosing 3 lbs per week.concentrate on sticking to your calorie limit and changing your eating habbits is the key. going to the gym is fine but you will never get control of your weight untell you get control of your food intake
