So wasteful...its in Eb..please remember Stevie is BLIND...so the black keys allow him to create the FUNK in this song...and the horns always LOVE flat keys...maybe you should redo it in Eb as I see you got over 61000 hits...still good luck..and thanks for the effort...

True: this is in D, the real version is Eb.

Also, @ Isreal... this song DOES consist of a million notes. In fact, Stevie played 8 tracks of clavinet on Superstition, 2 with lots of delay, etc. So, the "ghost" notes ARE there!!

Well I'm sorry that you didn't get anything out of it. One thing I definitely wasn't doing though was showing off - i tried to keep it as basic as possible just to show various bits of the song . If you're playing live, then obviously you don't need to know the bass part , just the main riff. Short of slowing the video down I'm not sure what you want.

It annoys me when people criticise others for not 'getting it'.

You have to realise there are three Clavinets on this track all playing at the same time which makes it kinda hard for one person to play!

As a live performer you have to come up with an arrangement that works, and by that I mean it has to sound convincingly like the original without lacking too much depth, and that can be quite tricky.

Who gives a crap about what key it's in, that's what transpose buttons are for right? ;)

If you have general midi presets, it should be on either number 007 or 008 and the patch will be called clavi - if not i have no idea, just look for a sound that says clav

the "guitar" riff is just the same clav as the main riff A 97 on a karma.

The bass is G 34 with the octave down.
