Alright I play little league and those alounimun (sp?) bats are banned and so are woods I have a wood better than a composer hand made by me and can't use it. These new bats are sold for 300$ plus and most kids that get them have little skill or no confidence

A bat that bends in the handle is not good. You lose control over of bat. You want a bat with as little flex in the handle as possible to keep it under control and to be able to have better and faster feedback when you strike the ball. That way, you can hit the ball more squarely producing better contact with the ball. This is evident in the TPX Exogrid technology where they made the bat stiffer in the handle. Swing one and see for yourself the difference in a stiffer handle.

yes really. they don't bend a ton or enough for you to notice but all bats bend a little bit when they connect with a baseball. if they didn't bend and they weren't made to compensate for the bending, then every bat would shatter every time it hits the ball. its a known fact
