@1:56 This is clearly one of the greatest moments that I have ever experienced in a video game. Its so calming, but at the same time in this moment, where you are looking up at the building, you realize the challenge that lies ahead.

I truly connected with this game, and when it ended I felt a since of loss, but all good things must come to an end ;). More amazing games need to be created such as this one.

And besides.... We need a Mirror's Edge 2!!!

The Shard interior is so fucking beautiful. Why! Why doesn't a place like this exist in real life. I mean even the fucking pipes are painted a rather nice dark blue. Everything about it is just so beautifal.

All the game trying everything without help... no problems, small stucks but not really important. Now that Merc is dead, I need help, this chapter was difficult for me from the beggining, tryed every posible wall to run over, but there it is... the answer was the thing he's done xD. Have nothing but to say "Thanks", and another thing... I love the bgm.

Guys last week I went to buy Portal 2, and the bag that they put it in was a plastic bag with Mirror's Edge printed on it! The print on the bag was Faith's face and the same cover as the game's box. It wasn't written anything about Mirror's Edge 2 though...it was just Mirror's Edge...so I was confused as to whether they just gave me an old plastic bag, or if these are new and they're really hinting at a sequel coming up?!?!

I don't get why people are complaining over the cut scenes. I really like the contrast between the art style of the game and the story. I think more video games should incorporate more styles. Also, what exactly happens if Faith doesn't hide in that area right before the gas explosion? Does the player just start from the beginning of the chapter again? I don't have the game lD;

the cutscenes wern't poor nor were they lazy. Its an art sytle. Sure you can critisize the artist who made it, but it is in no way lazy. It is that artists style and it is quite unique and I personally like it. Now all of you are entitles to your opinion, so Im not saying you not likeing it is bad or anything, Im just giving you MY opinion and saying why I like it.

...Okay... It's not supposed to be a comic book style nor is it supposed to be a visually cutting edge "cut scene". It's a VERY SPECIFIC style that some artists and designers do. I've seen a few games do it. I personally like the style and think it's unique. You may not like it and that's fine but..it's not "lazy" or anything like that.

Considering how beautiful the actual game was, the cut scenes just didn't fit for me. Max Payne mastered the comic book style in its own noir way maybe they should have looked there for there inspiration instead of stickdeath com.

@ethnoo It's not really that you can't aim on Console. (But it drastically depends on what console you're using) But it's just a little difficult to Aim in this game entirly. I have the Xbox and PC versions, and I'm a better shot on the Xbox. :/ A friend of mine tiold me that it's harder to aim for the PS3 vs the Xbox controller only because of the stick layout.

Merc dying was the least surprising thing in the entire game for me. Back when Faith saw the details Project Icarus, she warned Merc specifically that he was on the hit list. And then they just dismissed it as a plot detail. So I knew that they were going to bring that plot point up again, because otherwise, why introduce it in the first place? So in order for them to reintroduce that part of the plot again, somebody would have to die. It was essentially a Chekhov's gun scenario.

@sufica you should do what I do - never buy a top of the line PC - buy something that would have been top of the line about a year or 2 ago for half the price. I have a fairly powerful system that I got for under $500- runs almost any current game at medium-high settings, any game as old as this one or older at max settings. (besides Crysis, which runs at medium settings, but Crysis is not a game - games are supposed to be fun - it's a glorified tech demo)
