  • Nice video...great information. FYI...I always pick up several extra salt/pepper packets from restaurants when I get fast food and such...and use them in my camping/survival cook kits. I just find that they are easy to carry, light, and just the right amount "per serving". Just some food for thought...no pun intended...ha ha.

  • Great video! Kept my interest!

  • Nice

  • @2kargarage1 hey thanks!

  • @TV843 hey thanks for watching,to be honest with you I don't remember how many years ago I got the gas but I do remember it was at The Sports Authority where I got it.I think Coleman makes something that's compatible. If not maybe they might have a web site that can tell you where to get it.

  • Hey, ang642. Thanks for the post. I have the exact CampingGaz stove you have as well as a CampingGaz lantern and I love them. I'm not able to find the CampingGaz cylinders in the states--only overseas. Your profile says you're in NY. Have you been able to find the cylinders in your area? Have you bought any recently? I used to get these at REI, but they stopped selling them. Any info you may have would be appreciated.

  • @TV843 Im in the exact same case. Due to terrorsim Those canisters cant be shipped In the

USA anymore. I live in WA and checked NATIONWIDE Camping GAZ canisters are simply not sold anymore. Ive seen them in

    ALASKA however.

  • @alexmutter420 I've actually heard somewhere, though I haven't looked into it, that there's a Coleman outlet store on the East Coast that sells them. I think it has more to do with Coleman (who apparently bought out CampingGaz) trying to steer us to more of their mainstream products. Otherwise, why would we still be able to buy other brands of gas cylinders at Walmart and such? I don't know. Just a thought. Bummer, because I really like the quality of my CampingGaz gear.

  • Great review thanks.

  • I want to go camping so bad,but my parents are too old, lol.

  • On that stowaway pot, does it slide on a canister stove that is a little lop sided? I have the bigger pot set in this video, and it slides alot.

  • @ChefBoyJL it does but some how I manage to get it to stay put.lol

  • Do you think the 3 piece will work on just a wood fire?

  • @evhfan1000 sure I have used it before in a wood fire,I put it on the edge of the fire so I don't burn the handles.

  • The Argau Camping Toasters would be a great accessory

  • who makes the second one you were showing and how sturdy do you think it is?

  • @joemista its call MSR stowaway pot and I have not had any issues with it,its held up pretty well. The handle does get a little hot but not too bad.

  • I have the same 3 piece kit. made by north 49 i think, havent had a chance to try it out yet, great vid.

  • "Very flimsy but their pretty sturdy"

    Lol well thanks anyways ^^

  • LOL..what I meant to say is that the handles are flimsy but when held right its pretty sturdy. :)

  • Interesting video.

  • Thanks, hope it can be some what useful for ya!
