  • I think I can, I know I can, I knew I could.

  • Very nice train how much did it cost when you got it?

  • The Dreyfuss Hudson has been out for many years. Your best bet is the secondary market, such as eBay.

  • where can i get this???

  • Dam train got rims...

  • where can i buy this

  • Dreyfuss? as in the same guy who styled John Deeres?

  • @Flyboy207 Yes.

  • the space between te tender and the locomotive is far to big. it makes it look very fake. the loco is nice.

  • @ramonnie007 - yeah, but without that, this loco would never get around the tight curves you usually find on Lionel O-gauge track without clearance problems at the corners.

  • BEAUTIFUL HDSON!!!!! I absolutely love the new york central!!! nice video!

  • @funnyfunnys It's too bad all the NYC Hudsons were scrapped. But atleast The STTRR Hudson 5212 and 6088 make good scale model replacements. STTRR stands for Sonoma Train Town Railroad. It's a miniature version of the New York Central System. It's just in the county of Sonoma.

  • good looking loco

  • Are these in real life NEW steam engines?

  • no......

  • that is a really cool train, love it

  • Hey I have that engine too! Mine's HO though. Riva Rossi rocks!

  • You should double head this engine with a Daylight engine.

  • oh man oh man what a beauty!!!!!!!!!

  • Sweat, very cool.........Love it!!

  • Does mth railking work on lionel o scal track?

  • Yes

  • yes it does but you need 0-31 they might not run right on 0-27

  • they dont they ether stop dead or derail

  • You Forgot To Mention This Is The Stream-Lined Version

  • @Juggylocko - I thought that was obvious.

  • the empire state express is on the MTH website, go to shopping, then click train sets and more, then click on railking, then click steam loco. and last but not least, New York Central! =] srry for the confusion! lol

  • Oh yeah, i saw your page, but im talking about the hudson version, with the black and silver colors.

  • Yes, that's actually the signature video on my channel page here on YouTube.

  • Do you have the MTH Empire State Express???

  • beutifull train!!!!!! love it!!!!!

  • One of the most beautiful locomotives ever !!!

  • This is one of my favorite LOCOMITVES.

  • i have the railking version of this but wish i had a scale premier model but the railking version is pretty nice for a compressed model check out my youtube page for my dreyfus on my home layout

  • Lionel is cool and all, but MTH is FTW

  • It seems to me that the MTH steamers are much better smokers than the Lionel engines.

  • Where do you get these model trains at?

  • The Dreyfuss Hudson is my favorite locomotive.

  • Did you ever notice that it's matching passenger cars do not have the skirts like the tender?

  • Thats a Real Classic steam Engine and its a shame there are no Hudson's Left In real Life. They were all scrapped.

  • I wish that one of the ESE locos had survived. They were pretty.

    to the video poster..

I know you're making these videos to show off the trains, but I would really like to see the GS-4 and the Hudson at normal running speed instead of crawling into a station.

  • that is a cool engine like Mallard even cooler

  • Most famous.

  • The Dreyfuss Hudson is probably my second favorite streamlined steam locomotive. N&W 611 is probably my favorite streamlined steam locomotive.

  • Which do you think would win if the 611 and a Dreyfuss Hudson were to race each other?!

  • cool color!!

  • How many cars would the average lionel locomotive pull?

  • Well I dont know I had a Berkshire loco I added about 15 cars and it still moved

  • I made a berk pull 40 cars and it still moved up to 50 scale milesper hour

  • I wish MTH would change their sound a little. Alot of MTH's engines have that whistle, and almost every mth PS2 has the same chuff sounds. Still i love all and any train!

  • No kidden, All the engines look differnt, but make the same sounds over and over again. I own 3 lionel units, luckily all 3 make differnt sounds.

  • There are different soundsets available on the MTH websight if you feel the need for a differant whistle. But I do agree on changing up the sounds per engine. Thankfully MTH is working on that with newer and newer products being released.

  • Put that Mo' Fo' along the Hudson!

  • shiny

  • That is one of my favorite engines! It is So Cool!

  • You should get a wabash hudson.

  • nyc with a flat front

  • I LOVE THEM ALL
