Everyone is entitled to their opinion. You can't call fans stupid bc they grew apart from the band as the band evolved into something very different then what they started as- it's not fair to call that "betrayal". Some people like the new music and some prefer the old. You can't argue that it's completely different than say Gauze... With out the fans- the ones who still listen to them and the ones who don't- there would be no Diru at all.

I still love Diru and respect them very much, even went to 3 of their shows on Rose Trims Again, but I can't help it if their newer stuff doesn't do it for me and I happen to love the sound of their VK stuff more- why should anyone be criticized for that??

So if you call it "betrayal" that fans like me won't buy their new album, then that's really not fair at all. I stopped at Dozing Green- but I really tried.
