Always three, because when you grab the NEW hair you add it to the piece getting braided in.

??? Who can say? I talk and share what I feel inspired. It takes how much time it takes. You can always turn down the volume if you don't want to hear my thoughts. It won't hurt my feelings one bit.

I did it. I've looked at many other videos and this is the best I've seen.  It took me some tries to get it right because I kept getting confused at which way to braid but I got it finally. Thanks. :D
