  • WHY IS THE TITLE IN ENGLISH BUT THE VIDEO IS IN SPANISH OR SOME FOREIGN SHIT!!!! RAGEEE

  • hier j'ai versé malencontreusement mon thé sur mon MBP. Sans prétention j'ai fait la manip. et il marche !!!!!

    yes !!!

  • hey they don't want to destroy their macbook, they just want to repear it because unmineralized water can clean a mac without desroy it, and it work, they don't waste their money...

  • lol j'adore la description

  • J'adore les commentaires à deux cents. Avec un air de snobismes dépourvu de toute élégance. Je commence à me demander (et je précise que j'ai eu pas mal de mac) si apple n'est pas fait pour les cons ...

  • okay so i was about 40 seconds in when i wondered, if your just gonna lightly spill that shit on there, why didnt u just drop the whole damn bottle and say fuck it all at once?!?!?!

    u must have alotta money!

  • @FelonyMan I think they just know what they're doing. They are responsable for the wifi network in Montreal. They also post a comment saying that the Macbook was working wonderfully after.

  • dude, I'm jealous on how you spend your spare time... real fun

  • @giulio1982 He spilled beer on his Mac (or his friend i think). I don't really think he really wants to do that... he just have to.

  • Vous estes Canadain couillions

  • stupid

  • Pour votre information... le macbook fonctionne toujours!!!

  • um....doesnt water+macbook pro motherboard=waste of $2000?

  • what a waste of water. think of all the children in africa

  • you can actually clean hardware with water.. but you have to make sure its dry before turning it on otherwise ur screwed :P

  • you got right ahead and use some hard or soft tap water... doesn't matter your still 90% likely to fry your stuff...

No residue is left by demin water.. and Demin+De-ionized water is non-conductive

  • I don't care if this works or not but just image of watering down your whole motherboard just makes me very uncomfortable.

  • To do this, someone would have to of rubbed shit into the laptop.

Didnt say anything about this did he!

  • ce qui sont vous faisant ! ! c'est un déshonneur aux impers ! !

  • yes you can immerse any electronic device in water excluding lcd's and it will pretty much work when its perfectly dry. most stuf short circuits because its either on when it hits the water or not dry enough when powered up

  • that is true and not true.

it's the salt in water most times like rain water, ocean, lake water that will corrode and cause the short circuiting.

  • trakmasters:

Case in point: I worked for a cellular operator/provider. People were idiots. They'd try to power a phone on right after they had dropped it into water. Water+Electricity does NOT = not-short-circuit. lol

  • Actually wildwobby

Deionized water does conduct electricity, they should of used Mineral Oil as that does not, and many people have placed whole computers inside large containers of oil. Go back to school before you blow your stuff up by putting deionized water on it.

  • explain to me how water with no ions in it is able to conduct electricity

  • liquid water always contains traces of H₃0+ and OH-.

  • distilled water does not conduct electricity

  • yes it does

  • water is slightly polar

meaning the Oxygen hogs the electrons making the oxygen slightly negative and the hydrogen slightly positive.

This allows for HOH chains and the conduction of electricity

  • Wheres the part about the computer working again?

  • Actually,

Deionized water doesn't conduct electricity either way...

  • heuahuehauhuheuhauheuhau the macky book taking a shower !! wohoo lol

  • this should work in theory of the battery was removed. The only reason tech breaks when you mix em with water is cus the electricity short circuits it sooo if the battery is removed nothing should happen.

  • What are you thinking?

  • Ahhhhh noooooo!

  • silicon is waterproof u dumb ass

it's the battery which causes short circuits that's the cause of cocern. Since he does not have the battery in place, there was no electricity going through to cause a short circuit.

  • It SHOULD run after it's got to completely dry up. A friend of mine dropped hiss celphone in the sea, afer that he really quickly washed it with normal water (the stuff you can drink), it didn't work too well for a few hours, but after that it worked as well as before this incident. It worked like a charm for a year, untill he destroyed it by playing hockey with it.

  • Good news! Bonne nouvelle !

Je vous confirme que le MacBook Pro de Benoit fonctionne à merveille.

I assure you the MacBook Pro of Benoit is working great.

  • i know that computers can run when submerged in anything that is unconductive such as oil or demineralised water but i still wonder, did it work after that?

  • Oil might be unconductive but even demineralised water will mess it up after, a short, while.

  • lol ruined !

  • stupiest video iv ever seen!

  • On aimerait bien voir la suite de l'histoire. ;)

  • I don't know about you Mac Pro Users, maybe Apple should make a weatherproof Mac, or beer proof in this case.

As for the video editing, excellent, it should be an Apple commerical.

    Regards Robert

  • Apple would benefit with a class of Macbooks that can compete with Panasonic's Toughbook line or even Lenovo's ThinkPad line for durability.

  • and the toughbook or thinkpad can servive water in the system?

    dumb ass

  • The ThinkPad has water channels and other protections that can direct liquid out of the laptop when poured onto it, including the keyboard.

As for the ToughBook, there are models that can withstand being virtually submerged in water, although it is against the recommendation of Panasonic (but they don't use the Toughbook name for nothing).

So, who's the dumb ass now?

  • if you look at his comment.....dumb ass....he never said either one would withstand water damage to the system or at all so your just a fucking retarded hater...

  • thinkpads are immune to normal spill damages i can confirm that. i just got mine spilled a couple of weeks ago. all i had to do was to shut it down, to put it in the fridge[dun ask why], and to dry it out the next morning, and it worked as if nothing had happened

  • thinkpads are UGLY they look like something from 100 years ago how can you even compare a Macbook pro to a think pad

  • i love thinkpads as much as i love batman. ipods are great, mac osx looks sexy too. but it'd be hard for me to ever lay my hands on a macbook cuz they don't have trackpoints and their keyboards feel kinda crappy too. no offense, just a matter of habit

  • well thinkpads are not desgin my Macbook looks far nicer than anything IBM can come up with

  • thinkpads were never designed to look "nice". They target business users, and Lenovo obviously dont want to waste their time designing a nice looking laptop.

  • Apple are THE best
