(Airsoft) How a revolver speedloader works.

I imagine that using a speedloader with a real revolver is easier, since the airsoft cartridges don't have the rounded tip of the bullet to help it go into the cylinder. I'm just guessing, though, I have no experience with speedloaders.

Meh, quite high tolerances. I would prefer a revolver designed to use a disposable clip instead of the cumbersome 'speedloader'. Just pop the shimmy in with the rounds, empty the roller and pop the shells out. A top-break Webley perhaps.

I'm guessing it goes faster with the real-deal since the bullets are rounded (or as least tapered) in the front, so they kind of guide themselves into the chambers, as opposed to the rounds of the Marushin S&W M60, which are flat. :D

@Hyshinara Not really. Full wadcutter target rounds are loaded flush with the case mouth and look a lot like that. They don't have that problem if they're new or if you resized the brass properly during reloading.

It also helps if you point the gun DOWN instead of trying to keep everything horizontal. Let gravity do the work.

A cylinder is a specific type of magazine, per se, however, as it is built in to the gun and is not internal, it is out of the classification of the other two groups. Therefore it is specifically defined as a cylinder, as it is, obviously, a cylindrical magazine of sorts.

my friend has a load of airsoft guns (about 30) and he was showing me his speedloader he had, wayyyy different than this one, his is a latch mechanism that you simply squeeze to release, and it takes him 1.21 seconds to reload.
