Best survival caracter in Tekken 3 is Gon (my opinion), becouse he is unreachable to high kicks normally and that means it is easier to block against opponents. + it has unblockable attacks like fire breath, fart, electric discharge. Also immunity to fire (good against True Ogre). And very short legs which means that Gon is able to berform a running attack from quite short distance. Gon was the only caracter with who I was able to brake the 100 win limit in survival mode.

Glad you said it, 23 isn't many in Tekken 2 (the difficulty goes hard on 21), but once it hits 51 then it becomes near impossible as the CPU always blocks and evades everything (causing time over). All three times I've hit 51 I've lost to time over (since you regain only 10 or so health and don't start full). King, Armor King and Heihachi are all on 51 here. Watch out for inescapable throws that the CPU loves to dish out - Jack-2 really hurts!

you did pretty well, but in T5 try to do it with dvj or paul, your number of wins will probably increase. I did it with dvj and i got 174 wins.

P.S. I know i can`t prove it but believe me it`s TRUE!

I know i can`t prove it but it is TRUE. I won mostly of the matches doing this sequence: spining demon, demon spear, ?hellfire destruction?(i don´t really know how it is called, that one when you fly and then you laser the opponent) and laser scraper.

try this sequence: RP+LP(2x), capital punishement(hold),qcu+RK, rolling elbow rush(first two hits),?leg break?(d+LP+LK) and giant swing. And see if your number of victories increases

god man not too good on Tekken Tag survival did u know all these people who say they got 999 and thts how high its goes? its a load of bullsht they are only the people who put cheats in using Action Replay and that all the score goes up to but if u dnt use ceats it goes past 1000 and my own personal best atm on Tag Survival is 213 with True Ogre and Brian Fury :) i will get it on youtube soon dude :)

You are correct. In Tekken Tag, I used True Ogre and Gun Jack and played up to 1002 battles without cheating. All you have to do is find glitches in the CPU's style and exploit them over and over.

But why bother? Instead of finding CPU's, it is much more rewarding to face real human players.

Oh man!! Your survival records are poor a little, this is my opinion. Used to I did 999 wins with Angel and Kazuya in TTT, and I did 999 wins with Jin in T4. What funny is that the reckoner will not calculate after 999 wins.

Man, I never use this action replay and cheat shits, I am not a sucker! I have been playing tekken for 12 years, so I know well what is the normal playing against CPU. To reach 999 wins in T4 or TTT this is not a really hard done, just have to use a very useful tricky, besides you have to be patient. I say to you I did this record under 15 hours while I made little breaks in this time! Not an easy job, but not so hard either!

Turk15 -- Thanks. Here's a good tip on Tag survival:

You know you can hold Tag before the fight to start with the 2nd fighter, so at the end of a round, look and see which of your characters has the most health, and start the next round with that fighter. That way, the character that's taken the most damage will slowly be healing off-screen. Keep it up :)

LoebasDC -- (in response to your other comment) You're right, the game is about much more than just juggling. Honestly, I spent some time unemployed during which I played Tekken 5 about 8 hours a day. Everyday. Then the anointing of God came upon me.

Survival is more about timing than anything else, plus the CPU becomes predictable. Thanks for the comment :)

You will get more wins if you play the easy or meduim level, but if you play the hardest level, the wins will be less. Also some moves cannot be done when playing against human player, for example yoshitmitsu sword stab, which takes 3 seconds to do it, this cannot work with human players. but with computer player it works.

Have you ever played Survival Mode? The difficulty setting does not affect it at all.

Obviously you could get more wins if it was easier, but you cannot control how hard Survival Mode is. But thanks for the comment :)

Yeah, Tekken 3 and Tag he had a Mishima fighting-style; but after Tekken 4 they changed it. I studied Shotokan when I was a teenager, so I recognize the katas from Tekken 4's FMVs.
