I've been out of law school for a decade and this is still the funniest crap I've ever seen.

Now drop out now while you've got the chance. Trust me. Your sense of humor is worth way more than that useless degree, and practicing will leave you bitterly unfunny.

On the plus side, maybe 10 years from now, when you're bitter, disillusioned, and broke ... some awesome law school punks will give you the laugh of the year, too.

the reason people jest about prison rape, btw, is that they see some poetic justice in a person who committed a crime, I guess that they assume in heinous, recieving accidental punishment. they don't feel sympathy for a felon.

I feel like there is some difference between having your bodily integrity repeatedly violated on a daily basis with no chance of escape and being assaulted once and then having the option of going to the police. Neither situation is peachy, but one is decidedly less peachy, and this is the situation that is commonly joked about on network television. This country is completely insane.

I agree with you that prison rape is completely ignored in our society and i think that 100 years from now that is what people will say was the great failing of our society. However, i guess i just don't see the need to modulate my sympathy for date rape victims by placing them relative to other kinds of rape victims....why can't we fight both kinds of rape? No one should be making light of date rape and nobody should be making light of prison rape.
