@HerreraRubi if you set up the android market. you can use that when attempts to unlock fail. read the screen options. if not you can hard reset but anything that wasn't synced (contacts & calendar) will be lost as well as text. anything on the SD card (pictures, videos) will be fine if just doing hard factory reset.

I dropped my samsung intercept in water.. ive been letting it dry out for 2 days now its just when i turn it on the touch screen isnt responsive and the volume shoots up and down non stop.. if theres anything you could tell me that would help i would appreciate it thx

@beastinpenguin3 did you place it in a bag of rice with battery pulled? the rice would draw the moisture out better. Turning on should never be done if there still looks like there is moisture under the screen. there might still be water inside or damage is too great. how long was it in water. was it just plain water? salt water and laundry water is worse. if you haven't you can try putting in bag of rice but hope is slim. and never use heat to dry it damages part bad. not even a blow dryer.

@garretta1972 darm youtube doesn't always tell me every message and miss a lot. with intercept you can do a swupdate with a patch to a custom recovery. if you still need this let me know and send over the info

@213cesarin sync them to your google email. menu>settings>accounts & sync> manage accounts... sync the gmail contacts and calendar

I was about to send this blasted thing back to get fixed. It kept staying on the restart screen. I had a damaged battery so i bought another one today. It did the same till I tried this hard reset.

My Samsung Intercept Wont Boot @ All. So How Do I Go About Getting In To Recovery? I flashed An Incompatible Image To Boot And Now I Cant Boot. @makelio69 gonna have to adb shell access. type in, adb reboot recovery ...and the phone should reboot into recovery. I will send you a guild for adb. hope this helps.

@XxLeetSkeet4EvarxX no it will not disrupt service or clear activation. even if you did clear activation, service is paid on the network and activation (network information) on the phone is clear another way, not this. swapping phones doesn't even disrupt service.

@310richard I will, that one can be just one video. These Hard resets were specific to the phone because it was a different combination of buttons.
