when going to these sites like tomtom or garmin what am i buying to get the software. I keep seeing things for laptops but nothing where you can buy the GPS disk to load, help me please before I consider buying from chinavasion i want to make sure this will work and i have everything i will need.

You should be able to download the sample software from the site. Just make sure it is the software that has been put together for windows CE for the car DVD.

Then, once you have bought and installed our car DVD you can put the sample software onto the car DVD using a SD card (paste this "The Easy To Follow Guide To Setting Up Your GPS Car DVD" into google and choose the Chinavasion blog to find out how)

If it works, great buy the full version, if not it won't
