I'm a first time watcher, but I have to say that you did a good review on good games. I was a little disappointed in your review about The Sims 3. I believe that people buy the game to decorate, build, and overall enjoy the game. I have played everything from Mario to Prototype and I own all the sims games, for every consol, expansions included. I wont tell you to rethink your opinion but I think that there is more to the game then your seeing. I guess you just haven't found "the sim in you" ha.

I own the first Mario Galaxy, and that was an amazing game, one of the best games for the Wii, easily. But knowing Nintendo, it probably won't be a sequel, even with the "2" at the end. It will probably just be another a completely different game but still in the galaxy setting.

To answer your question, you will probably enjoy the second just as much whether or not you play the first galaxy. After all, when has a Mario game really been about an in-depth story that you follow from game to game?

The first is an amazing game, one that you should definitely play. It is a must own for Wii owners. But, if you just got the second, you would most likely understand the story.

I recommend getting the first one, since it was amazing. The second will most likely just be a sequel in title, not in story.
