  • @ZapNation21

Pretty good songwriting, nice lyrics, smooth vocals. It DOES sound like 60's music. (Meant as a compliment.) Far more listenable than so much of today's crap. Gracias.

Also nice to know that the surviving Midniters are still performing. Grazioso.

  • Thank highland for the good review. And yes, I still catch Midniters shows every chance I get.

  • @ZapNation21

Zap, I just want to extend my condolence to all the low-riders on the passing of Rudy Madrid. The piece I read about him yesterday said many good things: he was quite a scholar but chose music over law school, and he was a friend in need when someone needed entertainment but didn't have much money. The piece also mentioned Thee Midniters.

  • @57highland Gracias. Yes, Rudy Madrid and the Cruisers sometimes played gigs with Thee Midniters, so he is also a pioneer for Chicano Music. Thanks for the kind words.

  • Definitely my favorite oldie. I can almost smell the spray starch as I hear this right now (I would listen to East Side Story as I creased up my pants). Peace.

  • Firme kick back Oldie =} ATM
