Christie must be one hypocritical piece of shit to get angry for the rising debt. Cut jobs from teachers, but oppose progressive medical marijuana bills that would make people healthier, and reduce the number of prisons in that state. Chris Christie is one of the biggest excuses for a governor I have ever seen. Thank God I'm not in New Jersey.
@VoiceHunter Such drivel from someone who is an entitlement leech. As a dem you should so proud of how your ilk has dragged us all to the lowest denominator. Great that you want pot...so typical of those leftover hippies. CUT welafre, dismantle COAH...it should be sink or swim
@circusmaximus1O No I don't do drugs, but I believe marijuana should be legal. Christie wants a ban on all pot, yet he says government is too big. He's a hypocrite!
I believe it was Bush who dragged us into this recession, pal.
@VoiceHunter Legalizing pot, in my opinion, would be making government bigger. If weed were made legal, the govt would: set regulations and restrictions (age, quantities, etc.); get their hands involved in the companies that would be distributing the pot and the stores selling the pot; and, most importantly, tax the hell out of it! It certainly isn't a step in the smaller government direction.
I think pot should be legal, though, because it could singlehandedly fix our nation's economy.
@Sjack90 Pot is so regulated, it's not even legal in most states. Responsible adults doing pot for recreational use doesn't increase the size of government, and a pot tax would clear the debt FAST.
Bet that if the IRS and state gov'ts ACTUALLY collected taxes from the ILLEGALS, the deficit would disappear. The point of tax hikes is to strangle the law-abiding in order to subjugate us to "washington."
I'M A DEMOCRAT FROM NEW JERSEY.... BUT I've grown from hating Chris Christie, to loving that guy. I am going to vote for him next time around. I aslo think he should run for President of the United States.
@andrew24p um dude have you not figured out that all the money going to education is not working? Lets try teaching again and quit trying to pay the damn teachers unions. Get rid of the teachers that are not teaching. Bring in teachers that want to teach. I think that then you will have an educated youth that will someday make this country prosper.
New Jersey should secede.

@hammocktime2002 Oh, of course. Blame it on Congress. Because the veto pen just doesn't exist, right?
VoiceHunter 1 year ago
@VoiceHunter Would you like that veto pen when it will end welfare & deadbeat housing?

@hammocktime2002 If it ends welfare? No.
