  • @moseyalong1 If i remember correctly this is a viral marketing campaign or sumthing.

  • At 0:16 does anyone else here the announcer say "Holy Fuck!"

  • @pmorton98 hahaha

  • You just didn't get the play on words. It's not fake because it's a "REAL" commercial. Man... ppl have no sense of humor anymore. They spin-up and get pissed like it's an attack on thier person.

  • This is a scraped Gatorade commercial they never used. If you look at 0:36 their is a Gatorade below her chair

  • Well in the strictest terms. It's not fake. It is a commercial for Gatorade. And if you're

one of the dummies who'll whine and cry that I'm wrong, all I can say is, "go to the NPR's (that's National Public Radio) website and look it up in the story archives. You'll find the interview with the Fresno's team PR man.

  • @zarniwoop42 i will give you why it is fake in the strictest terms. a quote from the director of the commercial: “The big shot, the one that follows the ball out [from the plate to left field], was completely choreographed for lack of a better word,” Smith said, explaining that a motion control shot followed what would have been the trajectory of the ball, and the artisans at New York’s Framestore CFC inserted the ball in post.

  • Commercial for Gatorade.

  • Fake...

A legit ball girl would never go after a ball that was that close in play...

    She would have been fired..

  • even if this video was fake,

that catch is still possible to do.

  • she cant run all the way down there, then climb the wall then just turn around and the ball goes right into her glove

  • Its obiously fake but is pretty AWESOME !!!

  • all those sandwiches must be paying off

  • ya and the snadwich crap well lol were showing up the guys and well were busy being awesome the guys should hit up the kitchen

  • i believe she had done that. but what makes it seem face is the sound effects added. (the bat hitting the ball and the crowd cheer is fake)

  • wtf !!!!!!!!! AMAZING !!

  • Catcher is holding his glove in right hand not wearing it.

  • @karbo2 ...Your point?

He was wearing it properly in the beginning. Once the play was over, he decided to carry it.

  • dang i need to work on those skills if i can

  • dang...she must be spider woman :P

  • I don't care if this is fake, it is still Epic.

  • Take that jake i dont see you making the effort... LMAO

  • Bummer it's fake

  • who cares if it is fake. still awesome.

  • It was done for a soft drink commercial. She is a stunt woman using a harness and cables. This is according to Fresno Grizzlies spokeperson, Paul Kennedy. You can read it at NPR's website.storyId=91993793

  • his glove didn't change hands, he took it off his left hand with his right hand and was holding it while he moved his mask up with the left hand. Jeeezzz.

  • None of my Softball girls could do something like that.

  • A white man can't jump.

and people say Asian can't jump, they were dead wrong.

  • looks amazing, but highly impossible. just like michael bay movies

  • guys its because shs's asain and evrybody know they're all ninjas.all of them.

  • OMG .... GIRL POWER!!! Just have to say, We Are Amazing! :D

  • @AlyssaLovesLife

sorry no, it's fake. We men are still the best, FUCK YEAH

  • @IlVeritiero LOL !!!! AMEN to that statement !!!

  • @IlVeritiero u gay?

  • She was not pulled up by a harness its a stunt that was for a commercial that was never aired. She is a hell of a stunt woman tho. Awsome Video. Just google it.

  • @mannagail2286 She is pulled by a harness.

"The girl's rig and harness were removed and the ball was added in CGI."

You can read it all on the special effect companies website. Google Framestore CFC

  • @mannagail2286 She was indeed pulled up by two men using cables.

  • You go girl

  • The catcher is holding the his mitt in his right hand at the end, not wearing it! Real or Not she is still athletic to jump that high.

  • @ktayor1 Athletic? Not really. She's being pulled up by a harness.

  • totally fake....it's a gatorade commercial......

and if its real.....why is the catcher right handed at the start of commercial....and left handed at the end.....did he run to the dugout during the play???? LOLOLO

  • snopes.com/photos/advertisements/ballgirl.asp

  • Simply amazing.

I refuse to believe this is fake until proven otherwise.

    To shut the naysayers up,

Witnesses on the stand that night, please speak up.

When and where was this game? Link to local newspaper? Local TV?

    Who's the commentator?

  • fake for sure......but if it WASNT i would definitely be on my way to the pawn shop to sell my ball glove. Just not worth it anymore.

  • Too bad it's fake

    snopes.com/photos/advertisements/ballgirl.asp

  • WOW! Thats all I can say.

  • its fake. do a snopes search. people are sooooo gullible.

  • @nobeefbaby its not fake. it was on the news.

  • @soccer12bug are you joking? of course its fake.

  • The title should be "crazy catch by ninja girl"

  • please marry me

  • Mario has been teaching his tricks.

  • นินจาหรือไงฟระเนี่ย

  • @usd2bargr your dumn so he weres his underglove on his throwing hand right lol obviously youve never held a MITT not a glove

  • righty catcher beginning lefty at the end its fake as hell... if you think he just took off his glove look he has an under glove on his right hand and mizuno on left side of mitt... dumb asses

  • I literally met her in person talked to her for awhile.

  • The 28 people that don't like this are men. lol amazing catch

  • @442021

    its a commercial dumb a

  • @dodgers162003

so wheres the commercial and what is this commercial about?

  • I like how the commentator says "Holy Fuck!" as she catches the ball hahaha.

  • @vincentroy56 he says "oh, it's caught!"

  • and on the other side of the glove is the opening for his actual glove hand. it's not that he switched...he took it off and held it with his other hand. if you've ever held a catchers mitt you may have noticed this

  • i will agree its fake. however this catcher shit needs to be resolved. you can clearly see his right hand outside of the glove holding the web

  • About 30 seconds worth of research will tell you this is an unreleased Gatorade commercial.

  • its a commercial dumbasses

  • Super mario :D

  • How can people even think this is real. Why would the ball girl be making a catch in left field. You have to be a complete idiot to believe this is real. They did not hire all these people, it was just edited very well.

  • FAKE AND GAY!

  • @Horaciow14 Isnt.

  • she didnt even look at the ball when she cuaght it...

  • fucking fake XD

  • this is awesome, regardless if its real or not.

  • this is fake.

  • she shud be prfessionaly in the mens league, cant believe u guys are saying its fake!!!!!

  • ok, but why is catcher's insignia on right side in shot 1 and on left side in shot 2?

  • Comment removed

  • Sorry all this is a commercial & is all done using CGI

  • Noone paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to pay a fake excited audience and fake a AAA play complete with stuntpeople and professional level announcers just to put this shit on youtube. She made the fucking catch, so deal with that however you will.

  • this isn't a fake, because nobody had 700 000 dollars to pay a fake audience to be excited and pay a "stuntman" and then fake an entire triple a play and pay professional quality announcers just to put this stupid shit on youtube. Also, the glove is on her left hand the whole time. She made the fucking catch so deal with it as you will.

  • she's attached to wires being held by two men who yank her up the wall...........

  • thats not how you make a sandwitch

  • @ajserebii That's not how you spell "sandwich".

  • @ajserebii thats not how you spell sandwich you moron.

  • @ajserebii way to spell genius

  • @ajserebii That's not how you spell sandwich, lol. Still funny though.

  • @ajserebii that's how you catch a sandwich.

  • @ajserebii that's not how you spell sandwich

  • Oh god, does this surprise anyone that its fake? Women are incapable of surpassing men in any form of athletic ability.

  • @brownkv081 wow way to be sexist man

  • @bloc22 Way to be honest is a better way to put it.

  • @brownkv081 that statement doesn't even begin to apply... there are hundreds of girls who can kick your ass, and mine too (unless you're a professional martial artist.) If she happens to be acrobatic and athletic, and the left field guy missed the opportunity there's no reason in the world she shouldn't be able to make that play.

  • @heatedfrost Aside from the incredible feat of strength applying to that play as well. It cant happen.

  • @heatedfrost Hahahahaha, man. It's a commercial. Read the description

  • shes is hooooott

  • No he actually has the glove on.Unless he put on a batting glove on his throwing hand which makes no sense...

  • This was a commercial created by an ad firm called Element 79 for Gatorade that leaked out before it could air. Just check snopes.com.

  • @dhclapp I saw this on sports center stupid so get over it this GIRL is better

  • @dhclapp i knew it had to be fake

  • has anybody seen a ball boy or girl ever chase a fly ball into the outfield. i mean cmon

  • the catcher isn't wearing the glove on her right hand he's holding it, meaning he took it off

  • @olio2468 he's holding the glove with his right hand he's not wearing it on his right hand..

  • its real!!!!!!! i saw it on sportscenter!!!!!! I promise you. thumbs up if you did too!!!

  • @cuponkbros24

I saw it to and my mom was all like WOW!!!!!

  • it's not fake? it's completely possible to do, and so what if it was used for a commercial.. are you going to say that every sports clip used in a commercial is fake? seriously come on, just give her credit and let it be. Also neither the catcher or the ball girl change glove hands? It's always on her left hand, and the catcher simply pulled his glove off his left hand with his right and was holding it.

  • @DevinEffinLewis umm first off it is fake, second yes it is possible but that doesn't make it any less fake. Third, no not every sports clip used in a commercial is fake, actually many are real genuine clips, BUT this one isn't. Finally Im not saying it is fake because "the catcher switched from lefty to righty" cuz he didn't, it is fake cuz the commercial that it is in admitted to it being fake. end of story.

  • it would've been so cool if this was real

  • that is actually possible if you have enough momentum on the wall

  • the ball wasnt dead yet! it would be cooler if it wasnt illegal. sign her up....then teach her the rules

  • That was awsome!! she showed every one up!

  • Would love to actually see this happen in reality

  • what commercial is this?

  • Now thats what chicks do best.!! sign her up.!

  • This video is a hoax. According to professional sources, It's a video produced by an ad agency named Element 79 Partners for Gatorade. It was not shot at a major-league park but at a minor-league game in Fresno, California.

  • Video was an unreleased ad for Gatorade that was leaked by unknown sources. That's a Gatorade bottle by her seat when she sits down, but no other references to Gatorade are made because the campaign was scrapped before the ad was finished.

  • girls handle balls the best

  • Comment removed

  • @AneesAli1 I will trust your experience homo... Lol

  • its fake becuz its still a catchable ball its against all rules for the ball girl or guy to catch a ball thats still catchable

  • its a fake vid, an amazing vid but fake, google snopes amazing catch and you'll find out its actually a commercial for gatorade that gatorade decided not to release and went in a different marketing direction...it would be awesome if it were real but its not, sooo there that should end all the its real, its fake back and forth--peace!

  • Fake and gay.

  • Fake

    Snopes photos/advertisements/ballgirl.asp

also @StandStillMonkey you are full of crap, the video was made 2yrs ago and you saw it on Sportsnation a week ago??? BS

  • Wow.. are you guys all stupid. I cannot believe nearly 90% percent of you guys think this shit is real! What has America come to.... a ball girl would never run down the foul line trying to catch a foul ball(especially one that close to fair territory)... NEVER. She'd get fired.. Im tired of half of you people saying that saw this on ESPN/FSN or w/e. Truth is it was never on there!!!! look it up yourself. Bunch of idiots.. my goodness..

  • the catcher did not change glove hands. look closely you will see he is holding it in his right hand after wearing it on his left.

  • fake

  • First google "snopes amazing catch", you will see its fake.

Now besides being told straight up its fake lets look at some more reasons its fake

    1. Look at the camera replay, it was positioned perfectly and stationary at the point where the girl caught the ball...not a chance

    2. now look at the fans, if a ball is hit that close to you, you watch the ball and try to get yourself a souvenir not watch the wall the entire time!!!

  • It's not fake, conspiracy theory people. Catcher did not change hands & it's as real as it gets. The catch was going to be used as part of a Gatorade commercial but got cut.

  • @kwar66 MLB.com has the story about it it is fake. I would post the link but I don't know if youtube considers that spam or not. Also look at the video at the beginning the glove is on one hand and at the end it is on the other.

  • Commercial for gatorade.....had me fooled for a bit though.

  • @StandStillMonkey yeah after the catch hes just HOLDING HIS GLOVE IN HIS LEFT HAND..ITS NOT ON IT...baseball players put on and take off their gloves allllll the time..dumbasses

  • ...oh it is fake!! I thought that it was fantastic...the girl...the 2 players...every their move was cool and done according perfect comedy times! I said to myself: "...cool these americans.. they move well...and I liked also the speaker...the right words at the right time! ...as not said ...pity ..but well "played".

  • This is a gatorade commercial, It even aired during the Allstar game 2 years ago I think

  • This is not fake. I saw it live myself.

  • wish I could "fake" it like that.....lol

  • So fake. Like they let the ball boys/girls play that deep so that they're challenging outfielders for the ball near the warning track.

  • If only it was real....

  • who tough this girl how to play baseball, I think it was jackie chan because that move is something he would do.

  • htt p://urbanlegends.about.co m/b/2008/06/25/ball-girl-video-is-a-fake.htm

  • why i don't i beleive this: at 0:33 the people are already clapping their hands, the camera's are perfectly aimed, and i know, this is a commercial of a sport drink ;P

  • Comment removed

  • @Olson43 and he added a batting glove to his right hand somehow

  • the pitcher threw it kinda slow

  • mother fucker i wuld tap that shit

  • if you ACTUALLY look closely, you'll see that the catcher does not switch glove hands, he just takes his glove off and holds it in his other hand. doesn't change the possibility that this is fake though.

  • Did anyone notice that at the begining the catcher is RIGHTY and towards the end he's a LEFTY?.......FAKE!!!

  • FAKE! Saw this on sportsnation on ESPN and it was all a set up

  • Thats funny....never noticed the catcher. Righty to lefty. Funny.

  • Fake and... cool.

  • This is an example how to create an advertisement as content. Gatorade simulates a baseball match incredible girl catch but in reality is all fiction. In fact, it doesn´t seems as a real ad at all.

Este ejemplo demuestra cómo un anuncio puede ser rodado como contenido televisivo normal. En este caso nos muestra como una chica realiza una increíble pirueta y logra atrapar la pelota en un partido de beisbol.

  • The shot of the catcher at the end is just flipped around. There are no left-handed catchers.

  • Anyone who thinks this actually happened has never watched an actual game. Gashard nailed it. The girl would not even be chasing that ball. Ball girls/boys ONLY GET BALLS THAT ARE FOUL BASED ON BEING FOUL PRIOR TO 3RD BASE!!. Anything else they pick up their chair and get out of the way. Plus if you believe that it is physically possible for a person to climb a wall like that WHILE TRACKING A BASEBALL has been watching too many faked viral videos and needs to come back to reality.

  • I usually hate people who call videos fake..... but I'm pretty sure that was fake. Why would the ball girl chase it down? It's their job to get the balls by 3rd base.

  • fake!!!!!

    abcnews.go.com/video/playerIndex?id=5242746

  • FAAAAKE.

  • thats crazy

  • haha da catcher does switch hands dam commericals i give it up tho that was cool
