heck of an imagination! If I were a kid I would want to do exactly what I'm seeing here, I'd even go a step further and put a few mice on the track Damn, you could put anything, creature ya want on the track...you could just wait for a poor unsuspecting critter to just unknowingly walk at! Have ya tried runnin into a miniture barrel full of water yet, that would simulate those orange barrels ya see on the highway usualy at exits...spa....lash and than "ZAP"! Bye, bye, have fun!
@Rte57 I have the same Life Like brand you do. The controllers might need cleaning too. Hard to tell without using a volt/ohm meter on them to test them. Seems likely they could be worn out, they might only be dirty, not sure what the best way to clean them though.
@Rte57 Usually it's just a dirty track. What helps is to take some WD40 and put a little on a cloth and wipe the metal runners on the track. Even just using a dry cloth and polishing the runners will help too, removes the layer of oxidation that prevents good electrical contact.
@Rte57 I got a bunch of sets when a toy store went out of business for free. They were open boxes and I was friends with the manager. I probably have over 150 feet of track, maybe more.
Before RtCW, we (family) would have slot car races at the house with Tyco 440X2's and I also had #91 like in your video. Nice vid... brings back lots of memories. :D
I was lucky to get quite a few sets, probably 8, of the Life-Like HO tracks, when a toy store closed down a friend of mine worked at. I hauled home about 3 pickup loads of stuff. Some was new, most was stuff people returned but was still in good condition. I was in heaven for quite some time!

Thanks for the tip. It still doesn't work though. The controls are falling apart from use. Do you recomend a certain brand of track?

Yes, from 2:31 to 2:42 is the best part, where you are zoomed in with a shallow depth of field...nice work

That TCR commercial on t.v. was crack cocaine to me. Nothing else in the world existed when it was on.

Good job buddy!
Loved the whole video, reminds me of when i was a kid and played stunts with those things acting as if it was one of those action tv series!
and i definitely love the 2:31 to 2:42 part. Nice bokeh, nice angle, looks quite realistic.
