Garmin Nuvifone

I purchased a g60 last week and I love this thing. I don't understand why people try comparing it to the iphone. the main eye catcher for me was the plane jane style, then the gps thing , then the phone itself. I agree, its not fill with all those stupid aps. very easy to use. There are a couple things I don't like about it, but in comparison to the iphone, not an issue. i love it!!!!

hold on a minute, the iphone 3GS is almost a thousand pounds unlocked.....and only available on o2 network for 18 months at at least £34 a month.

When this is released i think its going to be about £600, which is still to expensive, and how says its against the iphone? its main purpose is sat nav, not a device crammed of monopoly features.

Even the refurb is $50 only with a 2 year plan dumbo. Don't forget to mention that. I don't want a 2 year ATT contract. Its coverage sucks in my locality. Moreover, there is no legal way to get an unlocked iphone at all for world travel needs. I am not going to waste my money on a stupid locked phone with the horrendous ATT service while I can get an amazing unlocked Nokia N97 that works with any network around the world.

@pogularocky whatever, a new one is 100, and i dont travel the world with a smartphone, i get fine service in cali where i live and enjoy te only non capacitive touchscreen on the market with the biggest app store aswell, along with a better accelerometer and easy compatibility with itunes.

I think the only people who likes to criticize the iphone are those don't have one or havent really experienced what it has to offer. Not to mention the new iphone that's coming out in June 08....3G IPHONE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the Sony Xperia X1 is better with windows mobile and 3.2 megapixel camera but at 700 euros meaning 900 -1100 it's giong to be very very expensive.

Iv seen it, the SONY XPERIA X1 is not bad, the sony does have as good a features as any of the other phones coming out dis year, its a very gd phone, but is lacking, not much really, plus it has a really ugly button setup. This Garmin phone is new to the industry and is already holding more features than the i phone, bluetooth,wifi,camera

pretty much destroy's the iphone wid those features alone.

No offense but the Iphone does not have half of the features of any other phone,plus wot makes it so special, NOTHING thats what, 1 the phone doesn't have GPS like the N95, Doesn't have a really good camera with amazing features like the Viewty,Its a really good music phone like the sony Ericson Shake, its none of these phones, all it has as a main feature is a touch screen which= nothing,all phones are gettin da touch effect now!
