  • Hi .... this is such a beautiful ring bearer pillow.... its simply superbbb!!!!....

    My bro-in-law's wedding is round the corner and I was planning on making a ring bearer pillow.... can you tell me what were the materials that were used to make this pillow... Also can you send any patterns for this.... any information on this pillow would be great....

    Once again.... this is such an amazing work.... kudos to you for making it.... no words to describe how beautiful it looks...

  • @MsAnu85 Hi and thank you!

    I used an ivory duchess satin and various Japanese seed beads I bought from Toho Shoji in NYC. The butterfly brooch was done on a stiffened felt (stiffened after it was beaded) and then backed with a stretch metallic silver. The antennae was made with thick jewelry wire. Unfortunately though I made this one on the fly since my friend asked just a month before her wedding, so the pattern was drafted directly to the fabric, and I did not make a bead chart. I'm sorry!

  • Very pretty!

  • that is absoutely beautiful! do you have a pattern or instructions for the pillow?

  • Thank you!

    And unfortunately I don't :( This was made on the fly more or less, since we only let my friend know we were coming about a month before her wedding, and she asked me if I could recreate the pillow from a jpg she sent me of one she saw in a Japanese bridal magazine. Since I had to work quickly, I didn't really have time to pattern it out or even plot out a bead chart. I wish I did though.

  • OMG, Oshi, it's beautiful!  ;O;

  • Too cool. Wish I had the skills to make something like that.
