I was using a tiny Yaesu VX2 transmitter / reciever. When it worked I really liked it. It got damp later and has since died. To record the audio I put my old Cannon A95 camera in front of the rado to record 3 minutes of low rez video and audio. The CN head office and RTC (dispatcher) office is in Edmonton .
After the fire they got it open to traffic after 3 days with temporary ties and track. They worked on it for about another 4 months to put in tapered ties and welded rail. They would get a few hours each day between trains.

How's that Cisco bridge now? Last time I was on that sub (this past summer) it was on fire.
