  • HAPPY 70TH BIRTHDAY BRIAN JONES!!!! still continues to inspire me and all :) RIP

  • happy birthday brian jones (today would be his 70th birthday!)

  • lol the miniatur picture looks like Angus Young

  • The main reason why I hate Maroon 5's Moves Like Jagger is not cause it's popish and overplayed. It's cause Adam Levine thinks he has the moves like Jagger. stupid fagg

  • Clear vocal and tambourine overdubs. With the exception of the fuzz, the rest is probably live.

  • I remember coming home after being away for 8 months in the British Merchant Navy.

My mother told me that she'd just bought a new record and that I'd "love it". This was the

record, and I did love it.She was 56 years old at that time and, unlike most of her generation,

absolutely loved the contemporary 60's music, especially The Stones.

  • What a great video!! Love them!! xD

  • By this time they were gods!

    Now they're only badasses ;)

  • look at Brian laughing His ass off at 2:17,hilarious!! Long Live Brian Jones!!!

  • pure rock'n'roll !

  • なんかの暴動シーンみたいな・・・・

  • The beginning shot of Brian Jones. Wowza!

  • What a great song. What a great period of rock.

  • The way it fookin' was, brother!!!!!!!!! The "real" Rolling Stones, Vox amplifiers, and wet panties all over the floor. The absolute best of times!

  • @hd74man These dudes went for this pop life , like fish in water. Sadly, Jones didn't swam that well. Legendary footage, this.

  • @PAULLONDEN -VideoBeat on their "Ready Steady Go Rare Unreleased" CD has a better edited and soundtrack version of this footage. I often take it to younger friends homes to show them "how it used to be".

More often than not, this, as you note, "LEGENDARY FOOTAGE" leaves them all quite speechless. Sad thing about Brian Jones. Seems his mates had little good to say about him, but no matter what clip you see of him with the band, it all looks like everyone was having themselves a good time.

  • WOW! How good is this video?

  • Awesome! This is very first music video of Stones.

  • This is rocknroll

  • Stu rescues Keith from his guiyatr again at 2:11.....where would they have been without him!

  • look quick at 1:19 and see Stu pulling Keith to the rescue. This period is when the Stones 'looked' their absolute best, before Brian passed and Keith's exposed armpit period and Mick began resorting to jumpsuits and knee pads. Brian looks better than his damn Firebird here.......wouldn't you like to see a dual perfomance of Bill & Entwhistle..( help on sp pls) ..see which one could just non-pluss each other. Two rocks of two bands. Glad Charlie lost the stache too.

  • wuwoooooo

  • Shit them rodie bouncers throw that girl with the stripes down like she is a bag of potatoes or something?

  • Damm you kniow they are all getting laid tonight!!

  • Now, THAT'S what I call rock'n'roll!! Incredible video!

  • hmmm.. what is Brian doing at 23 -26 seconds. No guitar and hes not left handed. any ideas?

  • @littlejim13

Brian would sometimes play the harmonica when Mick was preoccupied with singing.

  • @pazthepenguin hmmm.. I know he played most of the harmonica parts till the late 60's but it just seems weird since hes nowhere near the microphone at that point. But I can see what ur saying

  • the sixties *-*

  • Great video! Look at Brian... !

  • LMAO, the girls comin up the stage...

  • Charlie`s mexican moustache doesnt suit him at all haha.

it looks like someone put a stripe on his upper lips with a pencil haha.

But seriously charlie , brian , Mick , bill and keith are just simply great.

  • oh shit! my brother (r.i.p) had this on white label years ago! I wrote all the tracks on in biro!

  • Great Brian Jones images. I wish I had been at that concert! What fun!

  • The audience went nuts! Mind you, I probably would of myself!

  • que maravilla, que video tan chingón.....yo intenté saludar a los stones las tres veces que vinieron a México. obvio que fue imposible.

  • 'tell me a story, about how you adore me...' Yeah! Great video.

  • The Concert took place on October 7, 1966 at Colston Hall, Bristol as far as I know. The Stones were touring at that time with Ike and Tina Turner and The Yardbirds I believe. What I would give for that ticket!!! Love the bit at the end of this vid of Brian "cracking up" at the mayhem.

  • From which concert is this? (year, place). Great live sound!

  • BRIAN JONES +..... GENIUS FOREVER !!.. R.I.P..

  • @GYPSIMEX Totally agree.No Stones without Jones.

  • @LoveMarriott idiot

  • One of the best Stones songs ever!

    the 60's RULE

    Long live BRIAN JONES!!!!!!!

  • Great post!! It's odd to think that a lot of young people have no idea that Mick was once a sexy, young man. Paul's grandfather was right, being old does take up most of your life!

  • Raw version... but that's what's awesome

  • Great song, love it!

  • Man these cats wated to be Black so bad!

  • @boxingin You nailed it, and it's funny you say that because I was reading an interview with Keith Richard today wherein he said "We just wanted to be black motherfuckers."

  • @MonroeCt I guess the Brits where the true first Wiggers.... LOL
