i love the over dramatic reaction that came from this F2 tornado. nothing against anyone from atlanta and i know this never happens there but you should ask people what its like surviving through an F5 tornado.
The next day, an even stronger tornado struck Cherokee County nearly a mile from my house. It was terrifying, horrifying actually, to see it hit where you least expect: Your hometown.
ok i stopped watching the video after it said "We Survived To Tell The Tale" yet it was only an F2 -_-.... honestly thats retarded... next time do it without the obvious..
man here columbia that day we was close to getting hit by a tornado. 4 tornadoes hit around the city of columbia,sc but there was 21 tornadoes in south carolina that day. one of my favorite days.
ya the next day we were driving on our way back up to toronto and we passed through SC and all we heard on the radio was report after report on different tornadoes touching down there. i think if im not mistaken we ate at chic fillet in columbia haha
Here in Jokelahoma, when we see an F2 tornado warning we all run outside to watch. ++ on the dramatic music, but didn't see a heck of a lot of footage that could match up to the hype.
Haha!! Love that!!! Jokelahoma! I live in "jokelahoma". About a month ago, washington county had a tornado warning. I went straight outside. Ran back in when lightning hit just a block away. It was loud. But tornados arent so scary down here. Sad though when were hit by stronger ones like ef4's and ef5's
It happened so fast. My friend and I were leaving from the basketball game because she got sick, and all hell broke loose when we opened the outside doors, and some workers shoved us into the building and said that a tornado is hitting.. I heard glass shatter car alarms go off.. and wierd noises.. the building shook alittle.. and it was over. It was like.. no warning. :O.
This film is kind of nauseating to watch. Major issues with keeping the camera steady or panning far too fast to be worthwhile. Lame music, too. Good concept, bad execution.
I got some great shots during several hurricanes (stills, without a tripod). It's doable, but it takes patience. Like I said, concept was good. I might have edited out a lot of the parts where it's a superfast pan... because it wasn't the shots where you were holding it steady that was nauseating, rather when you were going between shots.
ya i can see where your coming from... thanks. also this is my first tornado vid lol... hopefully the last. never wanna experience one from that close again :S

I live in Buckhead and I'm sorry but it was an F0. The winds were only at 87mph confirmed by NOAA. It was bad because of downtown but it's an F0

tornadoes are classified by how much damage they do... it did enough damage to be classified as an F2

lol thx for the constructive critisism but then again it is hard to film when 135mph winds are trying to tear you apart.
