Could you explain how is transforming into tanooki suit using SUPER LEAF can be combined with dressing up in animal skins? Because tanooki suit is taken from part of japanese culture, which also explains that weird statue transforming in Super Mario Bros. 3. It also doesn't have nothing to do with animal skin abusing. Mario games are made in Japan. Tanuki is a part of Japanese culture. Mario is not wearing the actual animal skin, just a suit that resembles it. A lot of people don't know it's real anyway, so it's not going to make them want to kill tanooki.
