@SuperBnichols - I had heard she quit several years ago. I was curious to know if it had made a difference on her voice, for the live performances.  She's always good, but when she was smoking the live shows first couple of numbers were always the most difficult, opening up her voice. By the end of the show, no matter, it was always standing ovation material. One of the best live performers, ever.

The first thing that came to my mind was "what has possessed Dionne Warwick to appear in front of her audience dressed like she came directly from a workout at the gymn?" (I mean, her image on stage was never known to be as flashy or glamorous as Diana Ross, but I've never seen her dress down like this in concert before.) But right when she starts to sing the first few notes, her incredible voice just blows me away and I forget all of that!
