They shouldn't make terrible covers like this but take Kiss for example they made a cover of "then she kissed me" by The Crystals Kiss didn't ruin the song like what disturbed did too they didn't ruin it just as long as cover songs are not death metal crap or a pop song or it might not be ruined

why do musicians make music ? because its the music they want to play .. how do they play ? ask them . simplified ; why do In Flames make this cover ? because they want it to .. before condeming them with your short thinking statements , try to think why Chuck berry's Johnny B. oh hells no i did not just hear a super crappy version of a great song it was bad enough that disturbed remade it even though it was still good but now there is a gay ass version for emos just listien to the original by genesis its much better than this horse crap and what kind of gay name is in flames anyways

@trashman654 actually i thought it was gay 2 for a bit but after listing to metal and having it grow on me its actually a pretty badass song atleast its not justin beiber or hillary duff or some1 like that doing it & although their not good at doing remakes of songs they did fairly well with this one if your one for the classics though just stick with them but atleast ppl are trying to revive the classics with free publicity also u cant go straight from rock to metal it just doesn't work =P
