  • This is my fav one!

  • HI!! I have 3 questions for you. 1st, do you thinkyou can make some more videos for short nails? 2nd everytime i water marble its really runny and bubbly... Why does it do this. And 3rd, what is the best kind of nail plish to use??

  • @allieirish well, my own are never short so it depends when my mom wears nail art - My 3 tips for bubbles are: make sure there are none in the polish before you dip you nail (pop those), dip in & out slowly, & make sure to get rid of any water drops on your nail - if they won't drip off, you can use the corner of a paper towel to absorb them. there really isn't a best brand, every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well

  • Great tutorial! I was wondering if you added anything else to the water?

  • @pclanton1959 no - it's plain room temperature filtered water =)

  • today I'm going to try my first water marble. I really like your tutorial for this one. I'm only going to use the marble for 1 nail that's my ring finger on both hands. That's the new trend now and I really don't think it would look good on all my nails. Wish me luck . I get a lot of compliments on my one nail different.

  • @representing50plus I hope it works out for you =) if you want feel free to share a pic on my fan page I'd love to see!

  • i think your videos are awsome but that is just me make more!!!!! :)

  • wat type of water do you use

  • @chilegirl347 room temperature filtered water =)

  • I LOVE THIS ONE!! XX Can you tell me how long you have been doing these? xx

  • @meme20002011 several years =)

  • How much are the nail polishes?

  • @808prettyprincess they're all different brands, so all different prices =)

  • I think this is ma faverite one! LOL<3

  • I like ur other this 1 is not as impressive. Sorry

  • @money4life02 well, I don't expect every person to like every single design LOL

  • I finally tried this last night and I love it! Thank you!

  • love it C:

  • you sound so sleepy

  • Yeaaaa, really pretty and all, but I give the fuck up!

  • How do u get the nail polish to spread in the water OMGZ!!!!!!

  • @Dtip10 it's all trial & error to find the ones that spread best =)

  • Please subscribe to my page, polishandhorses. BTW, I <3 your nail art tutorials!

  • I had a hard time with the nail polish either the outside layer drying to fast or the paint not wanting to spread. Any tips that you could give me that would help either either one or both of those problems?

  • @mnky82 Are you using room temperature filtered water? Also keep in mind that not all polish works - the brand doesn't really matter but every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues I did use room temperature tap water, would the tap water make any difference?

  • @mnky82 most tap water is too hard & the polish will not spread as well. You can check out my water comparison under the Tips & Tricks playlist in the information box to see the difference =)

  • do you do this as a job or just for fun???

  • @littlenails123 it's just a hobby =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues

ahh right i think its a good way to get rid of stress

  • WHY THE H*** HAVEN'T I SEEN YOUR VIDEOS BEFORE !!!!!!????

My goooooood - I just realized that making your nails isn't a million hour learning thing! - THANK YOU !!!! (now i'll just watch pretty much all your videos!) :D <3

  • I think you've got too many videos on YouTube

  • @megaholliet ? aside from all the people who would be pissed if I stopped, that's kind of what YouTube is for LOL

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues where do you get china glaze nail polish and the orange stick

  • @mikayla409 china glaze is available at sallys, ulta & online - orange sticks are available most places that sell polish =)

  • Thanks that's good even though I didn't watch it

  • thanks xx

  • I usually watch late at night and get very annoyed by over-the-top perkiness.

  • super like

  • you are realy good at this! Thank you! <3

  • You are really talented..

  • good job though

  • I really like how you did these nails, but my problem with the marble technique is it seems like its the most expensive nail polishes that are compatible and work together for the effect. And sooooo being on a budget is painful to buy those expensive polishes :(

  • @superbeautyonabudget you can use any brand of polish, even cheap ones, just not every color works =)

  • @superbeautyonabudget actually, it depends, for me, the cheap ones are drippier and dry slower, which is good for water marbling ( I live in Thailand, stuff is pretty cheap), and the expensive ones are good quality, but sometimes dry too fast.

  • Yay i finally got it to work and the colors i wanted worked i guess opi works well in water

  • less talking please !!

  • @MegaShan34 there's an annotation to skip the into if you're impatient =P

  • @MegaShan34

Weird, I like her talking :P

  • cool

  • i like her voice! its sooo relaxing

  • so many nail polish,.....OUHHHH..O.O

  • I LOVE the look of the nail polish spreading!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i wonder what would happen if you put in shatter polish

  • @paryallnight most dry too fast to marble with =)

  • her voice is so relaxing

  • i tried it and it just dont seem to work...

  • @bredazo Are you using room temperature filtered water? Also keep in mind that not all polish works - the brand doesn't really matter but every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH =)

  • @bredazo I tried it a while back and it did not work. I tried it this weekend and wala it worked. When you poor the filtered water give it several minutes to adjust to the room tempature. Also, not all polishes work, I guess it depends on how it was mixed when the company made it. Try it again!

  • OMG! i want 2 c this in person 2 really no its her real nails

  • @hawterthnu123 well, I show them without polish in several vids & on my blog =)

  • واااااااااااااااااااااااو مره نايس

  • i like this than other because you make 2 nails

  • Thank u so much😃😃

  • Thanks u dear ^^ 

  • OMG this is ingenious!

  • Ur really pretty I wish I was as pretty as you 😔

  • thats a pretty eyeshadows on your eyes... <3

  • I Try this but the nail polish doesn't spread :S any advises please ? (:

  • @amirahamedali Are you using room temperature filtered water? Also keep in mind that not all polish works - the brand doesn't really matter but every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH =)

  • I heard you have to paint nails white first is that a must

  • @Ashboit it’s not required, but I always recommend a base coat to help it stick to you nail & also a base color because it helps the marble colors be more opaque & vibrant =)

  • is it hot or cold water ?

  • @L0llly room temperature filtered water =)

  • favorite nail design out of the addicted to color series =)

  • i have really like short nails cause i bite them.. do you think some design will show up on them?

  • @bffgirl9045 if you have short nails you just get less of the design, so it's very important where you dip your nail - check out my short nails marble with my mom as hand model for some tips =)

  • wow I might try this it looks amazing!

  • I tried this and proper failed!!!!-3

  • @simplelittlepleasues i love you channel but every time i do this noe of them spred or work well will you give me a couple tips

  • @smaley122 Are you using room temperature filtered water? Also keep in mind that not all polish works - the brand doesn't really matter but every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH =)

  • The picture on the video looks like a cherry.

  • your water marbles are really good. when I try to do it, the polish sticks to the toothpick tip. then it also separates when I drag it. is there some trick to keep the polish from doing that?

  • @myrandomobsessions It sounds like the polish is starting to dry – you either have to work faster or find colors that dry slower =)

  • did anyone else notice she take's really heavy breaths :)

  • can i took some rimmle london nail color too?

  • @prinzipessahakke you can use any brand of polish, but not every color works =)

  • does revlon works on water marble? :) thx

  • @jinfei12345 you can use any brand of polish, but not every color works =)

  • this is GORGEOUS! how long did it take you to get this technique down? i've been trying for months and can't get it to save my life lol!

  • @cridhe36 I learned it pretty quickly, but I've been doing it for several years now =) the most important thing is finding polish that spreads well &dries slowly =)

  • Do they have to be named brand nail Polish in order for it to work? in order to do the water marble art.

  • @TheHattaru you can use any brand, although not every color works =)

  • For how many days do you keep each design?

  • @friezavegeta I usually change my nails several times a week =)

  • When you do water marble, does the polish dry faster? BTW i love your tutorials :)

  • @sexydoll650 not really, it doesn't change the nail polish =)

  • Amazing again! Thank you, you are doing great with your tutorials. I always look forward for your next one. Take care!

  • Yours so inspiring and amazing<3

  • i want to see your nail polish collection soo bad :)

  • @chickenlikingood there are some pics on my blog =) I don’t know when I’ll get to a vid but in the right sidebar there's a drop down for my labels - look under the tag "my stash" & I think it's the 2nd post that will show up

  • You should deff turn off the advertising in the beggining, it's SUPER annoying!!! =S

  • @pink70makeup sorry if it bothers you but they're rarely longer than 15 seconds unless you can skip them & that's what allows me to keep making tutorials =) I probably could not afford this much polish with just my day job

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues Wow! How do you earn for them? And they're Brasilian! =D

  • @pink70makeup I am a Partner =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues Nice! And how much do you earn per month?

  • @pink70makeup I can't disclose that - but it definitely makes it worthwhile =)

  • your amazing !!

  • brilliant. you make it look so easy :)

  • u talk alot...im gonna wath another :/

  • Now this one is a beautiful one. :)

  • What is the nail polish you use???

  • @GabbiTheOne the colors are all listed in the infomation box =)

  • Colette, I just wanted to tell you thank you so much for your videos! I am 24 and I have always bit my nails. I have been putting fake nails on to try to stop, but I get bored with regular plain colors. I love doing the water marbles. I change my nail color everyday almost now. I am confident I can stop biting them now! I have found that a lot of cheap polishes work better than expensive ones.

  • 2:52

  • its cute BUT YOU TALK TO LONGGGGG

  • @GOTTALIFE1 if you mean the intro, that's what the annotation is for - if you mean the rest of the video, well that's why it's called a tutorial LOL

  • CUTE love it

  • what do you use to make your design? I find that whatever i use it will break my design or ruin it if that makes sense? I have tried putting more polish in to hopefully thicken it up but it didn't really work...

  • @nadiamendo I use an orange stick but anything with a fine point will work - It sounds like your polish is starting to dry – you either have to work faster or find colors that dry slower =)

  • with the tape part...how do i put it on??? :)))

  • @MissAlyssa623 check out the taping tutorial under the Tips & Tricks playlist in the information box to see how I apply it =)

  • i tried and failed.... the water was too cold cause my house was freezing! Looks like I'll have to do these in the summer :(

  • you really do sound bored sorry oh and thanks

  • Beautiful

  • You really should do one like u use blues.I would go crazy if you did!

  • @ILoveDevin96 I'll be doing every color for this series eventually =)

  • you inspire me!!!!!!!!

  • I love your nails they r so pretty

  • I love this water marble design . I remember the first time I tried doing water marble on my nails my dad said it was a waste of tape when he uses tape to make a fake mustache.

  • any one else use pure ice?

  • I love your Water marble Videos, your great at this, super job and keep it up !

  • I enjoy watching all you tutorials and I think I got my 6 year old daughter hooked on you.....she try's to do her nails by herself......gives her alittle motivation in the beauty department. I have one question, some of my nail polishes don't spread like the others, what can I do to help spread the polish out.

  • @kalaiku09 not all colors will work - the biggest factor I have found to help is using room temperature filtered water =)

  • 1:Isn't "The one that got away" a Katy Perry song?

    2: Isn't "Strawberry fields" a Beatles song??

lol Nice job picking polish that have the same name as songs :D

  • @loolcatsss yes to both, but I don't think they invented the phrase in either case =)

  • I wish i were an independent money earning adult to go buy myself 50 different nail polishes without my mom, who sees it useless to paint your nails.

  • All right I love your vids but if your soooo tired maybe you should go to bed at a decent time and just skip these vids?

  • @thesamantha3529 well, I'm going to do my nails regardless, so recording what I'm doing doesn't really take much extra time =)

  • Do you use Tape? Or Something Else?

  • @ioueendorkie it's tape - you can check out the taping tutorial under the Tips & Tricks playlist in the information box to see how I apply it =)

  • I love those nails but how much polish dose it take and i tryed this but with diffrent colors and when i got to the second color it just stayed there in the middle. How do you prevent it from happening.

  • @DerandaRosel Are you using room temperature filtered water? Also keep in mind that not all polish works - the brand doesn't really matter but every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH =)

  • you are amazing can u give me sone tips????

  • @TheCupcake135 are you having a specific problem?

  • This is epic

  • did u use speacial nail polish for this??

  • @crazykyootie1 no - it's normal polish although not all colors work =)

  • @crazykyootie1 way i need to KNOW

  • how do u keep your nail sooo long...i try to not cut them as often but there still kinda short for some designs:)

  • @usanrio I keep my nails moisturized, lots of lotion & cuticle oil & I also take a biotin supplement – check out my Nail Maintenance vid in the Tips & Trick playlist for my full routine. I do occasionally get a tear or break but you can check out my tutorial on silk wrap patching for how I save those nails =) I do "Naked Nails" posts on my blog every month or so where I talk more about like all the specific products I'm currently using.

  • my target never tutnes out spreading please help

  • @TheAndrealange Are you using room temperature filtered water? Also keep in mind that not all polish works - the brand doesn't really matter but every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH =)

  • u make it look so easy lol

but when i try to do it.... wow XD

  • can u make different color like black, pink, and white? just for me..

  • @u18nffc I've actually already done one in those colors =)

  • the color spread easily.. haha.. i cant to that..

  • This is SOOO cool. Ive been watching water marbling forever but didn't have the guts to do it. I just recently did it for the first time and it came out great! Btw - I love your hair! It's so long and it looks really healthy and shiny.

  • can u use bottled water???

  • @LiLsweatheart1 bottled should be fine as long as there are no additives =)

  • ur waters probly the wrong temp. :)

  • Cool

  • when i put a drop in the water, it falls down and it doesn't spread out :( why??
