Was watching the growing pains of adrian mole and this video was suggested at the side hehe. Been reading Adrian Mole books through again bringing back all those memories of high school
Also, never heard of Melvin Burgess and want to read Junk now that you brought it to my attention. Is it anything like Junkie by Borroughs??
@iamwalkingthec0w ahh awesome, I know what you mean, Adrian Mole always brings back the high school memories for me too :) I've never read Junkie, so I'm not sure if it is anything like Junk, but I really can recommend Junk as a brilliant book (and i will go and read Junkie now!) :) x
@ameeliiah Junkie is a great book, like an american trainspotting I guess, By William S Borroughs.
Will have to get a copy of Junk, saw on youtube while looking it up and there is a drama of it, but all the comments say it is terrible and not worth watching so I guess I'll get the book ; )
I recommend you read 'The Hunger Games Trilogy' by Suzanne Collins. They are the best books I have read in a while. I also recommend you read 'The Borrowers' by Mary Norton. I could recommend a whole lot of others but that'd be a lot of books. Great video :)
@Nabsyyy thank you for the suggestions, I've been meaning to red the Hunger Games for ages :) And I'll definitely check out The Borrowers, I remember loving the film when I was little :)
@ameeliiah The movie was brilliant! I have just seen it after reading your comment - Thanks :) I also recommend (If you can find it) 'Make your own adventures with Doctor Who: The Search for The Doctor) It's a book from the 1980s and is so cool. The book gives you a great story line making you a character. You get to choose what decisions to make to continue on to the story, and if you lose you have to start again. I don't if it is easy to find, but it's a great read :)
yer i will keep my eye out for that at the moment i am reading 'when it happens' by Susan Colasanti and it is really good i like these kind of books when each chapter is one side of two peoples story, my favourite book is done the same way 'pefect chemistry' by Simone Elkeles
@charliejean14 I've just finished 'Tomorrow When The War Began' by John Marsden and it is amazing! I haven't loved a book so much since I read 'Paper Towns' by John Green (which you should totally go read too!!) :) x
yer my friend has pirates and i am going to read it after i read two other of her books i have (if you want to know what they are let me know) and i love sarah dessen as well she is amazing. thanks bout my friend i shell tell her, if you read any other books that you think i would like please let me know because i think we have the same sort of taste, and if i read any i will let you know
@charliejean14 yeah let me know what you're reading :) and I'll keep you posted on what I'm reading (at the moment its 'Strings Attached' by Judy Blundell and its fantastic!)
i love A Series of Unfortunate Events; The Bad Beginning, Just Listen i have seen the film of Never Let Me Go and i am currently reading sovay
i never liked reading but then i borrowed books from my friend and now i get books from her bedroom (her own personal libary) all the time, the book has to grip me from the start if it doesnt then i dont read it you see i get bored every easliy, but your chose in books is amazing
@charliejean14 I love any Sarah Dessen and Celia Rees (if you're enjoying Sovay, I definitely recommend 'Pirates' - its SUCH a good book!) I'm the same, I have to really be into a book from the start - something exciting to make me want to read on, or something to really capture my imagination. Your friend sounds lovely, I'm very jealous! :) x
I love all the Harry Potter and Series Of Unfortunate Events books, my favourite books would have to be Skellig - David Almond, Nobody True - James Herbert and The Wardstone Chronicles - Joseph Delaney
@jmcmaxDVD aah I love Skellig! Although I remember it really freaking me out the first time I read it! Unfortunate Events were my absolute favourites for years and years! I just love the style of writing :)

As soon as I saw 'double cross' in the background on your shelf, I was like "She's awesome!"
Then I saw that you read Stargirl and was like "oooh my god!"
Also you seem to like pirates, and clearly books. This was awesome, you've got good taste =)
