Hi, I've flown Rhossili a few times (relatives stay in the next village) and hope to get another trip later this year depending on how my sister is feeling.
On my first visit I took Steve up for his very first flight (he lives next the ridge) and he got almost 90 mins on the dual controls on G-BZJI landing on the beach at sunset :-)
Sea cliff flying in North or South winds... the dunes in (ideal) East but will take 45* x-wind..
Also a very nice gorse ridge that is mainly for NE flying... (friends stay there so we are permited one single vehicle in the resident parking for flying the North / NE sites), foot access is also easy but a decent (flat) length hike.
s. wales has tonnes of beaches like this! Llangenith, caswell, rhosilli etc
