Could also be because Rock'n Roll is more of my music than the somewhat more modern popmusic like Michael's. @information75 From 1968 on, the reason Elvis cut older songs short was to squeeze as many songs as possible into his shows with the limited amount of time he had. That's also why starting 1969, he sped up the tempo as well.
