WOW! This song takes me back and brings back so many wonderful memories of the days I used to go to disco's in NYC on Friday's & Saturday nights. Makes me feel like putting on my dance shoes and hitting the dance floor again. We had so much fun back then.
Wow, never knew about this album or these songs. Well, maybe because I wasn't born before '95. I turn 17 at February's 1st and I'm proud that I listen this kind of great chilly music and not these days shitty music like some people. Young like me, and even younger than me, should be more aware about classy and fine music;) Sure everyone has their own style, but I think these days songs are so same to each other and lame.

Well folks, I genuinely believe all is not lost. Last night I drove my 13yr old daughter and two of her (same age) friends to Horror Night in Miami, Fl, and I could'nt believe my ears when one of the friends was singing along to 80s music I was playing from my Ipod. They're is a possibility that the kids today may be listening to the 80s incognito. Disco may be dead, but the 80s are here to stay!!!:)
On the "Born this Way" comment... actually, you can't blame Lady Gaga. She's a product of today's musical standards, which for me have sadly deteriorated since the passing of the 80s. For me, the 80s has the nicest stuff ever. By the 90s, it all centered on hip hop and other egoistic stuff, which I personally dislike.

This is a great Madonna song. Her early to mid-period stuff is really good pop that will continue to stand the test of time. Ray of Light is also a good album but this early stuff takes the cake. I think she's fabulous.

@Twazonda well its not really narrowing myself to anything, i have the opportunity to listen to whatever music i want, and not listen to fucking gaga and the shitey newer music. if i like this music, if i enjoy madonna's 80's music then i can happily do that and i am allowed to show my opinion for the newer generation of music too.

absolutly, since we are born we are influence by the world around us, have you see madonna's film call "I am because we are" you should watch it, very interesting, talking about your thinking, yes we are all influence right? but what people realize is not the linked thing during the years between this girls, the real thing is that gaga is using Madonna's statement and aptitude, for that reason I do not find her interesting anymore, gaga is more about herself and madge is more about all of us.

@supadupagmailcom Gosh have you heard that AWFUL ''BORN THIS WAY'' ALBUM? It's so repetitive in production that makes you stop listening the album before you get to the last 4 tracks!!!! My stomach almost turned when I was listening to the album because Gaga BOLDLY claimed that the album was going to be ''album of the year'' but when you play that album, you just wanna slap Gaga. That's how horrible it is. It's basically the usual electro pop she does but produced in a very lazy manner.

brings back memories when I had it burnt on a mix c.d from my mom. Ya even tho my memories aren't the same or from the 80's they're still memories to me for when I first heard it, and used it as a part of my getting ready/going to the club songs... It just puts me in a different place and it's like I was there when It first came out. I don't know I just LOVE good and I mean GOOD 80's music , like this and I just LOVE Madonna period.
