@lensinilas clean has to do with distortion or no distortions. hince the clean and distorted channel. and its not a demo so if you want to hear a sg clean go up to your locar guitar store that has one. ive leaned from experience that the internet is not a place to shop for guitars cause there so much different in person.

The sg sounds like it has a much clearer clean tone than the les paul. Its almost impossible to play chord stuff on les pauls, IMO

please don't anyone shout at me for this comment, Gibsons are great guitars (i've played several Gibsons) but I feel they are a little overpriced for what they are. I have an Epiphone SG custom and its fantastic in its range of tone and playability and I also have two Ibanez guitars and I often feel the Ibanez are better value for money.

The difference is mainly the feel due to the quality of the wood and the used Lacquer. They won't sound different because they are essentially the same guitar, only muddier, brighter, middier...hotter, lower output...you get the idea.
