I am a soprano but I have a good range and i can go as low as alto. But would singing an alto part permanently lower my range? Which part would suit me better? Which part do you like more?

@TheClaireyboos She picks which part she wants you to be. I don't know which one I would be better as. I could make my voice low-ish and belty like Fred or high and sweet like Larken. I still have other questions like which part would suit me better, or if singing an alto part would lower my vocal range. So, you basically sing a song from the musical and she decides which part you would be better as.
