This is shot only with 25p on my Panasonic DVX100a which shoots true 25p.

Ok, perfect! I'm italian and i'd like to buy this adapter. But i have to buy a camera too. And i don't know if is better use a camera with true 25p (dvx100be) or a hdv camera (canon xh-a1)....this is the question!

Sorry dude... DVX100a or b don't do true progressive image. It's a Cinegamma and frame reencoding, still interlaced.

Get a HVX-200 to have true 720p at 25p or the new Sony XDcam EX for full HD.
