  • my friend just made it on the 2010 u15 soccer benji lopez he plays forward

  • @gsrdantr10 get noticed be the star of ur club team go to the state or national tournement and be the superstar.....and know whos whatching and where they are

  • I want to get on the U.S national soccer team im 15 were are your locations?

  • Comment removed

  • Im going to go tryout for my the Seattle Sounders FC academy..hopefully they will sign me after..i have passion

  • personally I Dont like the O.D.P system. I tryout for ODP, made state, made region camp, made region pool, then got cut.And I know I should have made it. politics thats all it is.

  • wat do u mean politics

  • The only reason anerican soccer does not compare with european soccer is simple........our best athletes do not play soccer......if the lebron james, adrian petersons, michael jordans grew up playing soccer as their no.1 sport.......america would have a world cup champion.......soccer fields perhaps americas 4th or 5th level athletes........the best american athletes never play soccer.........its that simple

  • Do you seriously consider football players the best athletes in the USA???? Not a chance boss. What makes them great athletes? the fact that they can run a 4.3/40? But not be able to sustain that for 90 minutes? I dont get it, american media is quick to say football players are the "best athletes" but I dont see it. 6'8" and 290 LB defensive linemen is not a "great athlete"......just a big guy.

  • @skywest37 Couldn't have said it better, nice comment

  • @skywest37 In terms of raw athleticism football players are probably the most athletic (i.e. running backs/dbs are faster/stronger than most soccer players). That doesn't necessarily make them more "athletic" though. Soccer players are more coordinated I think, but that is because they play soccer all of the time. It's like baseball players who train themselves to do specific things/specific motions. I think soccer players are easily the most underrated athletes, especially in the US.

  • me 2 i got tht but im good though i play on my academy

  • It doesn't matter if your odp team beat the Chelsea youth squad, their youth ain't that strong anyways. On the international scene when the best of the best play, there is a big difference, and North Americans can't compete on the same level in terms of pace and skill. Look at these players in this video. I know it's just a scrimmage, but which player stood out to you? They aren't going anywhere without superstars, and look at the defenders. They can't even tackle, and just run into the attacker

  • u14 u15? how is that possible dont they have to go to school ??????

  • The Take classes at the camps.

  • I have the first keeper's gloves. They're not that great. lol.

  • haha funny thing is i just turned 16 and i got a letter to go try out in holland for the us u-16 national team and im not even on odp but i played against their players hahah i was better then them there not anything different there the same like any other play juss hyped up and over rated

  • i agree with u realboznian15. same thing happend to me. they actually are not anything special at all

  • Actually your an idiot than for passing an oppurtunity like that. The u.S is the fastest growing team in FIFA history, and are pulling out players at a really young age. If you don't know what I'm talking about than you know nothing about U.S soccer as we speak. We have, Addidas,Nike,College level, and 2nddiv teams, camps,USNMT,etc looking for talent every day. We coludn't say that 15 years ago.

  • @ReAlBoZnIaN15 Yeah our D 3 US college team went to Holland and played the Ajax U-19s and lost 1-0. They are more organized and better conditioned...That is the main difference. What the coach in this video is saying is true...Playing tons of footy in informal settings refines a player's instincts...It makes them more creative, confident, and dangerous. US players just aren't as savvy. They are more robotic. They don't have the flair yet of Brazil, Argentina, Spain, Holland, Italy, Germany, etc.

  • @ReAlBoZnIaN15 Chemistry matters A LOT in soccer, and I think the top US national team is getting a lot better now. They have a core of solid players (Howard, Bocanegra, Dempsey, Donovan, etc.) and are mixing in some of the younger players with huge potential (Agudelo, Diskerud). The one player that could REALLY help them out would be Giuseppe Rossi. The American kid from Jersey that chooses to play for Italy. He should get on the US roster, especially because Italy snubbed him at this recent WC

  • these guys would not get in a local u15 team in englnd....crazy!

  • haha, this was four years ago, US is much better

  • oh haha is that so... Then how come CASL United's 91 elite squad beat Chelsea's youth squad last year. Seriously you dont know what your talking about

  • haha beasley is right im on the 92 casl elite and my club did beat the chelsea youth at the disney cup finals. now we are actually sponsored by chelsea

  • i went to the chelsea 7 tournament in Raliegh this year if u know what that is

  • no just kidding hahah... im not that good

  • im on the u-15 national team this year

  • lol soony sadd and latif alashe right there. Michigan Wolves Represent

  • christian31eagles dude is right.

  • christian31eagles is totally right guys. so if your wandering how to get on the nationsl team you have to go to an ODP camp or tryout for state team. then they pick you to go to regionals and if u make regionals they decide from there for nationals.

  • I don't know how to.

  • im better than all this kids im also 15 and since i was a little kid i wanted 2 be a soccer player right know im in a soccer academy in chico california and im the best in the academy i think that i should be in there

  • Is that Charles Renken? He's nasty. He's already being dubbed as the next Adu.

  • like christian31eagles said, you have to make your state team through ODP (olympic developement program) then you go with the state team to region camp (differs depending on your state's location) then if you make the region hold overs they may call you up to the regional squad. After training with the regional squad you can prove yourself to be good enough for a trial with the national team (separate from ODP, but most players come off ODP region squads). thats how to get on the team.

  • I play for ODP

  • i play for ODP

and hopeing to get to a region

  • Im on U-15 soccer team

  • i'm think i'm ready to try out for this team im 12yrs old and i play 2yrs up for my club so 08 looks like a good year for zachary clerge :)

  • wat do u do on the tryouts for the junior tryout thing???.... cuz im thinkin of tryin out for the kcwj... and i wanna find out so i can work on it till the tryouts are there...

  • I think i will be ready for the minors in about 2 months. I dont like the US team. But I have no choice. How do I git in.

  • first tryout for your odp state team if u make it they choose some players on that team to go to a regional camp then if ur good enough u go and tryout for the national team

  • great players on this team

  • I could make this team but I'm not a citizen of the US

  • samir lol.... how can u say the players arent as good when half ur team is on regional

  • you have to be nasty at soccer

  • how do you get in this team

  • First you have to join your ODP team and then you will get chosen for regionals and then eventually if your good enough you will make the national team.

  • you have to be good and be scouted

  • wow that's cool. I'm only 12 and a girl, but I need to save up money for it until I'm 15. Teamryan, how do you get "scouted"? Lol I know nothing about this stuff. lol.

  • soccerqueen 1st of all make your state's odp team and u go from there

  • first u join the district ODP team, then if ur good enough u go to state, then regional, then national

  • @gsrdanyr10, you have to be invited by the main coach to the tryouts. From there, if they like you, they ask you to keep coming back. The only downs there are is that there is only a few trainings a year, and that it is a far drive (which you could deal with).

  • @gsrdanyr10 You have to go to tryouts. Usually if you play on an academy team, they will have connections for you for the national team if you're good enough. Tryouts and camps are usually in Florida.

  • @gsrdanyr10 you have to tryout for your state odp and if your good enough eventually you can make it to the national team or if you play for an academy team you can get noticed but even if you think your teams good you probably arent going to get scouted unless you play for a academy team

  • @Ryan17Soccer u cant try out (maybe u can some places but in california u cant)

u hav to be scouted by 3 odp coaches then yes u make ur state odp, regional odp, then national pool

  • @gsrdanyr10 all you have to do is play for good high ranked teams and play hard all the time and get noticed

  • @gsrdanyr10 lol i think yo u have to go to ODP olympic development program, then make your state team. to regional team. to then , the national team
