BEST RANT EVER! hahaha ~ the most important person to Clark becoming Superman is CLARK lol Brilliant!! I am a Superman fan, from way b4 SV.. and I've had MANY issues with this show and what they have done to Clark's character. I am a Clois fan... and I don't think there is too much Lois.
Lana AND Chloe had 22 episodes for YEARS. Those relationships made CK suffer. In S8 and S9 it was CHLARK. Chloe holding his man-parts - She was right and HE usually had to end up Apologize to her for it!
I love Erica and Tom together. They have been awesome Since S4. Erica is the best Lois Lane too. Clana is the main reason why so many fans left. You could only take so much before you lose your mind. I'm glad Erica is in all the episodes. KK took up 7 freakin' years! I'm not shipper, but I'm a big fan of TW and ED together onscreen and their version of Clois. I've always said Lana should've left after S4, and Clark should've been going to school and training.
Well I believe if it wasnt for all the people who enjoyed this show you wouldnt have been able to watch for 7 years. I accept that there are people who love Clois as well as thoughs that are strictly comic book followers or superman fans. It's because of all of us that the show has lasted this long. Try to remember that when u r begining negative.
Where you high doing the first 7 seasons? Even the showrunners admitted they only cared about Clana and Clexana. They admitted this many times. You were high. You had to be high or blind, deaf and crazy.
I really hope there isn't a wedding. They have so much else to wrap up in the finale. I can grudgingly agree with a n engagement. But they have to focus on Lex & Darkseid and SUPERMAN.

Clois is getting in the way of the Plot of the show. Combined with the fact that, anyone of those Plots couldd easily take an entire season. I mean come we get like 40 minutes of Clois, to of the ACTUAL PLOT
Absolutely agreed. Many people believe they're stuffing too much plot in this season. I believe the contrary. The producer's aren't putting ENOUGH plot in this season, there is too much Clois fluff. If they can get their act together, and find a balance, then the second half will be very successful. Yes there are a lot of arcs, but they can definitely be wrapped up if handled correctly. As you said, Clois is slowly getting in the way of it. We'll see how it goes.

uhhhh..i think you're getting their relationship all wrong. Clark has NEVER shown obsession towards Lois. Clark has never ever been dependent on Lois like his past relationships. If anything, he's been pretty chill throughout their entire time of being a couple.
They were always attracted to each other. No, they were not in love, but they did have always had feelings for each other. A two year old can put it together, but I won't go there. I don't have the time. He was obsessed with Lana. That was not love, but what he has with Lois is love. I love Superman and Clois. On SV that's the only ship besides Clark's parents that is worth watching.

Lois is the most important thing in Superman's life, but the people who are responsible for turning Clark into Superman are Jonathan and Martha Kent (Jor-El provides a link to his heritage). Every Superman continuity works. The whole alternate reality theory of Smallville is crap; the writers just got carried away and have written themselves into a corner. I have a feeling they will undo some plot devices by the end; if they don't it won't work with any Superman mythos.
I also find it funny how a lot of Clois fans say that Lois is "as important to the Superman mythology as Clark is" LOL! no she isn't, they answered that question themselves by calling it the SUPERMAN mythology! Trouble is that a lot of them are a pretty vile bunch, if you say one negative thing about Clois they will start attacking you like crazy, even though youre a genuine fan that has watched the show for 10 years, and criticise it because you want it to improve. An excellent video, it's nice to see another Smallville fan with sense (unlike most the idiot fans you find on youtube/message boards). Sorry for all these posts, but my problem with Lana was not only the overuse, but a) it lasted EIGHT years and b) I literally could not stand her character by the end. I think Erica is fantastic as Lois, and I like the loyalty the character shows Clark. Lana was a despicable person at points. She constantly whined from Season 5 on, and I just thought the character (not KK) went from sweet and likeable to just awful. So for me it's not only about the amount of use but the character.
Believe me, I love the posts. Its comforting to see people as passionate as I am. As for Lana, I agree, she pissed me off in S8 especially, mainly because of the suit. To me the people who complain that Chloe is only in 5 eps this season are far more outrageous than people who have a problem with Clois. People literally think the show should revolve around her. At least Lois we know is going to be with him for the next 50 years or whatever. And not to bring up a sore topic, but Chloe has betrayed Clark out of jealousy a dozen times over the years. I like her, but I don't get the obsession, especially with Chlollie. Why is that a big deal?
I still feel like it's not as much about Clois as it is about the million different things they're loading into this season. Could they go lighten on Clois? Sure. But there are a lot of people who like it, and that factors into the choices they make. To me, the Suicide Squad was a mistake. What point has it really served? Lex and Darkseid are more than enough. And what was the point of Harvest? With 22 eps left that's what they chose to do? It makes no sense.
I'm pretty sure you said you hate shippers at the beginning of the video, but if not, I apologize. I wasn't angry either, I just feel like everyone can point to SOME continuity in the comics and say "Lois is his world" or "Superman existed before he knew LL" and both are right because there's so many different eras, stories, etc. The arguing between fandoms, ships, and everything else has become hard to listen to at this point. But they have poured so much sugar into this romance stuff this season that the thing they started the show as at first is almost no longer that anymore. I was bothered by the overuse of Clana, I mentioned that in the video. I guess I was saying it didn't bother me AS MUCH as Clois is right now. I'll have to agree and say that Power is on my list as least favorite episode. I do agree that they're cramming a lot in, but I feel like they could manage if some of the Clois episodes aren't so prevalent. I feel like each episode has been focusing on ONE story-line at a time, so there's little room for progression with any arc.

But Lana who's one of the most annoying characters known to man. Can be in all 22 episodes. I fucking despise that character and Clana and it has nothing to do with Clark and Lois. Agreed on all points. I'm glad you haven't grown to hate the show yet, as I sadly have. Far as I'm concerned, Smallville ended after season 8. There was no s9 or 10. "Icarus" was the last straw for me and the Clois nonsense. It's all over. If "Collateral" isn't picking up steam, then I'm done until "Booster" and the finale.

TPTB are on a mission to cater to clois fans this season. It's like they have a clois checklist.
1. lois finds out clarks the blur. check (even though she ain't supposed to know based off comics.)
2. Lois and clark dance. check.
3. Clarks confession that he's the blur to lois. check.
4. clois sex scene. check
5. clois morning after makeout session. check.
6. clois engagement. check.
7. clois wedding? who knows but i would not be surprised if they put in the finale.

But Lana who's one of the most annoying characters known to man. Can be in all 22 episodes. I fucking despise that character and Clana and it has nothing to do with Clark and Lois. I can put up with Clark and Lois because it makes sense and it's postive unlike Clana. Anyone who thinks Smallville's version of Clark and Lana is better than their verison of Clark and Lois should be taken away by the men in white.

Dude, I got given this video via Twitter. Why did I never see you before? Kudos on this video. Everything you said is so right. Season 10 is not what we have expected it to be and certainly no need for Lois to be in all 22 episodes.

Agreed on all points. I'm glad you haven't grown to hate the show yet, as I sadly have. Far as I'm concerned, Smallville ended after season 8. There was no s9 or 10. "Icarus" was the last straw for me and the Clois nonsense. It's all over. If "Collateral" isn't picking up steam, then I'm done until "Booster" and the finale.
But besides that, the man is back on YouTube! So glad to have you back, bro!

I have to agree with you on that, man. Although I've defended the show over the year so far, I'm starting to agree with the people I've been debating against. The quality of this amazing show is starting to falter. I'll watch every episode until its over, but you're right. If it doesn't pick up, it'll leave a bad taste in my mouth, which sucks. And thanks a lot man, I'm happy to be back. Hopefully I'll stick around this time!
