I disagree with that. Taking Nebraska in a different direction was the last thing they should have done. This is was great programs that have had lots of success do from time to time. They over think. We are talking about a program that was perhaps the College Football team of the 90's. The get to a National title game and then have one down year after and he is fired?????? Sorry but if it isn't broke don't fix it. You can't win every year dude. But you can stay near the top!

so true. solich was a great coach. in 1999 his record was 11-1 and 2000 it was 10-2 and 2001 11-2 and a national championship apperance with a heisman winner. thats real impressive if u ask me. then u fire him? makes no sense
