oeterson shouldnt have fired him but taking nebraska in a different direction wasnt the wrong move either. it should have been pelini and not calahan fron the get go
I disagree with that. Taking Nebraska in a different direction was the last thing they should have done. This is was great programs that have had lots of success do from time to time. They over think. We are talking about a program that was perhaps the College Football team of the 90's. The get to a National title game and then have one down year after and he is fired?????? Sorry but if it isn't broke don't fix it. You can't win every year dude. But you can stay near the top!
so true. solich was a great coach. in 1999 his record was 11-1 and 2000 it was 10-2 and 2001 11-2 and a national championship apperance with a heisman winner. thats real impressive if u ask me. then u fire him? makes no sense
Lol. A bunch of hating husker fans! That was a great game, but the way nebraska left the big 12 was even better. Once AGAIN not big 12 champs! haha

@qukarlz Without the 'trick play,' we would've won 13-10 on old-fashioned smashmouth football.

Enough with the idiots bragging about blow outs. Each team has blown out the other. Get over it.

@qukarlz Nice profile. I see you like Britney Spears and other pop divas....LMAO!

@qukarlz No, they needed the flash reverse pass to seal the game you god dam retard. Now get back in your hole until you're told to come out.

What happened to Jason White in this game?

This is one of the most underrated rivalries in college football. Love watching this game every year and I'm not a fan of either.

haha Nebraska and Oklahoma both thought they would have a rematch in Dallas. Nope, Colorado vs. Texas. This was a good game though

Crouch won the Heisman that day for sure!
Too bad that Solich sucked. Eventually he ran out of Osborne recruits.

Love bitch slapping the Sooners. This game was as good as the 37-0, 69-7, and the 73-21 beat downs.

Love the heated, yet highly respected rivalry we have with the Sooners. Hardly a disappointing game whenever we face them. GO Big Red!

@Titleshot1 DId you like all of those beat downs by Switzer? How about under Bob Stoops: 31-14, 30-3, 62-28 and 21-7?

@zzLOVEGUNzz Nebraska ripped open OU once again. Bow down 2 the best in the big 12.

@zzLOVEGUNzz Did you Sooners like beat downs 69 - 7, 73 - 21, 37 - 0, 21 - 7, 33 - 9 back in the 90's?

*Nate Hybl, not Jason White
Unless White was running that play AFTER he tore his ACL just a few players earlier.
