  • How did you do this...I must know...

  • Mine does not cycle good, does urs ever jam.

  • nice

  • baby type 95.

  • put tracers in it and make it look like a laser gun.

  • FIGHT CRIME! MAKE EVERYTHING LEGAL!

  • Fight crime, Abort black babies

  • I would never do that to my mini 14 if it was ment to be a bullpup they would have made them that way

  • With some sanding and polishing on the trigger rails it can be a great stock. It's even better if you replace the entire plastic trigger rail assembly with a metal one. Though admittedly not the best of quality and a poor trigger in factory condition, it is a fantastic tool for lightening the perceived weight. Perfect particularly for women and children. Of course it's fun for us men, too, when used with a 90 rd drum. It tucks into your shoulder beautifully.

  • I hope it's ot the same quality as their 10/22 version. That was garbage.

  • Friend bought the kit and its a waste of money. The plastic used is cheap and flimsy and reminded me of 1$ water pistols as a child. JUNK

  • I believe this is what they used in the beginning of Terminator 2 :P

  • Fucking kick ass..

  • thats fuckin bad ass

  • Is it possible to get these in smaller calibers?

  • Bought this stock from Muzzlelite and hated it,no trigger feel at all, really crap!. Sold it on EBAY and made 10 quid more than I paid fot it, so not all bad!!.

  • You can by that bullbpup stock from amozon

  • Nice looking gun!!!

  • Nicely done....I like it

  • Love Ruger, Love the Mini14, Love Bullpups... but this kit makes that beautiful gun and makes it look like plastic garbage...

  • fight crime shoot first :D xD

  • This looks like the chinese type 97 assault rifle ~~

  • who made this gun?

  • @willie1129 ruger

  • where did you find the kit????

  • Isn't that modeled after a Chinese ceremonial gun? (They name escapes me, but I believe it is the type ___)

  • I would buy this in a second if I wasn't left handed....

  • is it more or less accurate with the bullpup as far as the sights being on top

  • Where do you get the kit?

  • Looks quite a lot like the QBZ95.

  • @MrThomPS3

i agree,it looks awesome, just like the QBZ-95.make some custom heavy handloads that are ballisticly similar to 5.8x42 DBP87 and you basically have a QBZ95,now imagine a Ruger Mini 14/30 with a FAMAS style stock...those would sell like hotcakes seeing how the Famas is so popular in movies and video games nowadays.

  • @MrThomPS3 it might be using the chasis of a QBZ but with some mods :)

  • Had one of these for my 185 Series Mini-14. Got rid of it, as I considered it too fragile. Went to a Choate Pistol Gripped Stock instead.

  • can this kit also fit the mini 30?

  • How does this thing work if you're left-handed?

  • cool i want one lol

  • So which is it, a .223 or 5.56? There is a difference, dispite what many people think. Since it is a Mini 14, I am guessing .223.

  • @JCassidy3383 Both.

Stop acting like a know it all. If you did know it all, you'd know the mini 14 handles both just fine.

  • @JCassidy3383 it is 223. mini 14s arent rated for 556 ammo.

  • @mixmaster76 The new ones are if you get the tactical version with the pistol grip stock. I have one.

  • @mixmaster76 New Mini 14s are rated for 5.56 NATO. My understanding is that the Target model isn't for 5.56.

  • @JCassidy3383 It's both. The ruger website clearly states this. Some models are only .223(the target model is one). that is for the new ones. the olds mini's I would suggest contacting the manufacturer. good luck

  • love me a bullpup

  • i threw 1 of these together myself. have you ever scoped these, any trouble getting a zero

  • at 0:10 it looks like a SA80 rifle.

  • That looks almost like the Starship Trooper rifle

  • @TomsGuns

This weapon was used for that :)

  • @TomsGuns That's because it IS the rifle used in that movie, and also in Total Recall. Good memory!

  • @TomsGuns Yup the Morita Carbine..."Do You Want To Know More?"

  • @TomsGuns Actually, Mini 14 bullpup rifles like this one were used to build up the Morita Rifles in STT.

  • @TomsGuns Because it is .

  • i sent mine back. i hated it no where near as good as the wood stock. looks cool but that is it

  • should work for all minis but you trade decent factory irons for cheap plastic and a shitty trigger

  • I wish the Mini had the same style bolt catch as the M14, I never liked the plunger style on the M1 carbine or this gun.

  • Reminds me of the groza.

  • i wish more guns came stock option as bullpup

  • is it semi auto only

  • @sirengrove - Yup...

  • @Hardtailxxx Is that a TAPCO mag? And if so, how well does it function?

  • @Hardtailxxx pretty sweet...

  • @Hardtailxxx would this work with the RUGER AC556 the full auto mini 14

  • @TheAlexagius I can't think of a single reason why it wouldn't, provided the only change is that it allows automatic fire.

  • @TheAlexagius should work fine, full auto would be no different externally than semi auto. This stock basically just wraps the working parts of the mini 14 in plastic.

  • Cool!

  • i dunno i love my mini 14 but i dont think i wanna change that much i havent shot a bullpup that i like yet but ive only shot a few and im open minded i think ill keep the ati stock on mine

  • what fucking gun is this a MINI 14 m14 with mods fuck am i lost lol

  • I guess this won't work if you have the barrel stabilizer.

  • Hardtailxxx Will this work with the mini 30?

  • @maltieskitten Check out the muzzlelite site. I don't know, I didn't make it, just enjoy the hell out of it...

  • @maltieskitten thats what I was thinking, they make an ak 47 bullpup

  • theirs nothing poor about a ruger 223 they go for about 850.00 dollars

  • Who did you get it to look so clean

    Mine has some rough edges

    Please advise

  • I hate being a lefty. If I ever get a bullpup, it'll probably have to be the CT-21 or the civilian AUG.

  • @OZombieJesus Kel-tec is making a bulpup with a front eject in .308 [7.62X51 nato] I"ve been looking at SWEET...God bless...

  • @OZombieJesus The new Kel-tec .308 would do you right. Front-ejection, no worries for the lefty :) Look up Kel-tec RFB.

  • so WANT

  • look like the new chinese rifle !!!!

  • Just got to say great video! Right to the point, no bs showed me just what I wanted to see! Thank you!!!

  • i just did my conversion about a week ago. trigger pull really isnt as bad as everyone says. the only complaints i have about the stock is i wish it was made of polymer similar to glocks instead of the fiberglass reinforced abs plastic and how the sights are not so great. instead of having it priced at 100 - 140 it should be around 70 - 80 bucks due to the old school material. i will try to replace the trigger bar with some machine aluminum or even replace the trigger bar and add bearings.

  • Poor mans steyr AUG

  • ever think about making a small video review on it?

  • Do you know if this can be done with an older 180- series Mini-14? I was thinking of buying this setup but my Mini is in old but pristine condition and I ended up not acquiring it. After watching this video I am, again, tempted.

Safe shooting and good health to you.

  • @1stab Muzzelite site shows the "full kit" as being for all Mini-14 and Ranch Rifle units. So there shouldn't be any problems...

  • @Hardtailxxx Thank you Sir.

  • @Hardtailxxx ive seen some pics of this thing apart; due to the long replacement trigger/bar-thing, i dont suppose there's any way to bump-fire that baby? :D

  • do you think a lefty could use it ?

  • @shley65 Not safely...

  • Ive never handled a Muzzlelite stock before so can you tell me if they feel flimsy or is the plastic pretty thick and should it be able to last a long time without breaking?

  • @ARBuilder1776 Solid setup, made of all thick aBS with nothing flimsy about it... Love it.

  • Wow that is a sexy gun, can not tell at all it is the same gun.

  • hows the trigger pull on these? i was thinking about doing this in the past but i heard its pretty sloppy since most of the parts are made of plastic. i mean for a home defense situation and the occasional range time do you think this gun would hold up in the bullpup configuration?

  • @xdejablu3x- The trigger pull is mainly unchanged, other than it being a little longer. I've never had any issues with this setup, and it is a blast to have.

  • Sweet rig

Do you find it difficult to change mags? then camber the first round?

Also are you happy with the sight??? It looks a little high

Do you have to totally dissasemble the stock for cleaning???

  • @83theCats - Even the high cap mags shown (30 rounders) swap as easy as stock, sights are at perfect hieght/angle for the setup, stock opens easily for cleaning (few allen bolts). Love the setup, fun to shoot, and something different without sacrificing any of the factory mini 14 attributes (only made it better). Plus, whats more fun/usable than a high power, high capacity rifle in a 26" overall package length...
