  • I love this channel

  • ted face when he's about to throw the ball is priceless xD

  • Doesn't Kelso have confidentiality protection?

  • When JD said "I dropped a quarter in here", am i the only one thinking why didn't he just turn it upside down?

  • "I think there might be something wrong with my keyboard, because I'm not typing this."

  • Great choice of music at the end, u agree?

  • "I think there's something wrong with my spine, because I'm not doing that."

  • lol John Morrison.

  • i'm busy cleaning xD *laughter*

    janitor is the best :D

  • crying right now.. Kelso.. -/3

  • The look on Kelso's face as he steps down is so... defeated. It's really touching, as this is one of the few times we see his actions cause him pain.

  • 0:38 Why didn't JD just turn the jar upside down so the quarter would fall out of it. Oh I know, it's JD ^^

  • John Morrison BURIED

  • Bob Kelso always has to put a brave face on everything he does, since he's the boss.

Like all bosses, they do things they don't necessarily want to do, maybe they have to do it for the company, sometimes to help others.

That's the problem of being the boss of something.

  • Anybody else notice that when Dr Cox confronts Dr Kelso at 2:00, Kelso's labcoat says 'Perry Cox' on it?

  • The conversation that starts at 0:45 is one of the best moments in Scrubs! xD

  • I can't believe Cox wasn't there for jiggly ball!!! He and Laverne would have caught a jiggly rebound and JD... >:)

    Gosh I love Scrubs! <3

  • hhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahhaha "I think there may be something wrong with my spine.. because i'm not doing that" :L

  • The look on Kelso's face at the end brought tears to my eyes. You could really see how much his decisions affected him at the end.

  • that 1 dislike better be for the guy that got kelso'd out of the med list

  • @seravox haha. love the way you phrased it. "got kelso'd out of the med list" XD

  • soooo...what is jiggly ball?

  • 2:30 classical case of situation ethics...

  • Wats the name of the song at the ende

  • @animesh12321 sideways, by citizen cope.

  • @animesh12321 these feelings won't go away

  • i feel sad for him....

JD bamming his hand that was stuck in that coffee thing in the pole.

  • the face dr. kelso makes at 6:37 is just heart-breaking

  • ya jenkins is a great actor the end he just looked so genuinly sad, prob one of the shows with most talent ever.

  • sure kelso can be an ass most of the time. but he is still a great character

  • I think kelso made the right call. He gave away one life, and safed a lot more. And still, if he had choosen the poor guy, the rich dude would still die, and he us a human life too, right?

  • JD's spine thing is hilarious

  • So sad :(

  • one of my favorite scrubs endings

  • I know that everybody gives Kelso such a bad rep, but he's doing what's best for the hospital. He has to be the bad guy because if he wasn't the entire hospital would go down in ruins. Sure he can be a bit mean and sassy, but Cox is even worse. He's not that bad, he just has to be the bad cop.

  • cox's logic is ridiculous. either way one person wouldn't be in the drug trial, so why not give it to the guy with more money for the prenatal unit? if he put mr. morrison in and it didnt work they wouldn't have saved a patient and not be able to open the prenatal unit. even if the rich guy dies, they can still open the prenatal unit

  • @marissawtts and @Pleasetwinsme you both truly underestimate how much Cox cares (you'll see in the later seasons if you haven't seen them yet) the reason why Cox gives Kelso such a bad time is because of what he said to him, which was that it doesn't even look like Kelso cares. I'm pretty sure Cox gets why Kelso does what he does, but the reason why it gets under his skin so much is because Kelso is so cold about it. By showing he doesn't care for the patients it kinda ruins it's validity.

  • @Barricade2091 thats kelso's way of coping! can you imagine having to make those decisions? to have to give someone a death sentence no matter which option you choose? he seems so cold because he has to make those decisions all the time, that he cant let those decisions or the people around him see how scared and sad he is

  • @marissawtts which is very true, I understand that, it's just that's why Cox gives kelso a hard time. See it from Cox's point of view he doesn't know that Kelso cares, all he sees is a guy that wants only money and would do anything to get it, I bet you that Cox does understand the reason behind his choices it's just that Kelso never really showed that it bothered him at all. Remember what Lavern said? after half a dozen children died he acted like he didn't care. It's hard to believe he cares

  • @Barricade2091 Hit the nail on the head bro. Kelso does hate to make those decisions but he has to do what's best for the hospital. The thing that bothers Cox the most is that he doesn't show it bothers him though, that's the key. @marissawtts You may say that Kelso has to act cold to cope but the end completely contradicts that. He does so because he's too proud to show that he isn't as strong as he appears to be. Just like all of the other characters had their pride moments.

  • @marissawtts I know that Kelso cares seeing as the end of the episode shows it, i'm just saying that's why Cox gets mad :)

  • @Barricade2091 yea ik, but i still cox gives a way too hard time

  • @marissawtts I think I would be pissed if I had to deal with someone like that for years lol

  • @Barricade2091 who cox or kelso?

  • @marissawtts Cox but tbh I always liked both characters because in the end they both shared a mutual respect for one another and had insight on the situation each person was going through (Kelso making rash and unpopular decisions and Cox who always made sure to hassle him for making heartless decisions)

  • @Barricade2091 yea and i liked how in the 8th season it switched and it was like jd was the new cox and cox was the new kelso but i always liked cox and kelso together, when they're friends especially

  • @marissawtts True I just finished season 8 today (5th time I watched all the scrubs episodes :D) I honestly love how Kelso seemed so mean before but in those seasons he was so nice it was almost like a different person, I especially agree with Cox and Kelso being friends is awesome. I couldn't get over how JD got so jealous XD

  • @Barricade2091 ik, i love kelso in the end of season 8 and season 9. and i agree, i love jd's jealousy. especially when kelso said that he and cox went to see a romantic comedy and jd started screaming

  • @marissawtts lmao I love how Cox was trying to deny it in front of Carla and Kelso's like "we're like brothers! i'm not hiding it anymore!" haha, and yeah I couldn't get over that part XD

  • @Barricade2091 yeaaaa this show is genius

  • @marissawtts that's an understatement it's pure EPIC GOLD!!! haha :D

  • @Barricade2091 haha thats very true

  • @Barricade2091 Well they had always hinted Kelso was a nice guy who just had a terrible job and I was glad in season 8 we got to see who Kelso really was.

  • Kelso isn't all bad guy!

  • Bob im physically touching your arm now...

  • what's the name of the song which is played at the end? thx

  • @Salamity09 sideways by citizen cope

  • Just a thing I thought of. Whouldn't it be awesome to see the guys of Jackass played Jiggly Ball??

  • @Golddragon9293 No NO to the JIggly Ball, that was cruel, unusual and awful...For once i want the janitor to get hurt

  • @UnderDog1412 I know that's why the guys of Jackass should do it. A cruel, unusual and awefull game, it alsmost has Jackass written all over it XD

  • man, i love rolos...

  • Kelso ultimately did what he had to. He sacrificed one life to help ten more. It's tough being Bob Kelso.

  • I think what Kelso did was right. I'm surprised they showed Cox incapable of judging that. That patient would have had slim hopes of survival being on a randomized drug trial anyway. Then why not have the mobile prenatal clinic instead? The trial wasn't definitive treatment for either patient.

  • @ThePreposterous Cox was judging him because Kelso didn't show any emotions after seeing the patient

  • i love how kelso was humanized near the end of the series. and they did it dam well.

  • @eddoubledeezy Kelso was always human, he was just one of those characters that you had to REALLY think about. If we wondered what it would be like having to make the hard decisions for 25 years, his personality archetype is almost perfect. He had to get used to everyone hating his decisions and coping with the decisions that chose who lives and who dies. He is by fair the deepest character on the show, and the ending to this episode was glorious.

  • The writers definitively know how to make great episodes.

  • Are you hearing that!? XD

  • Love this show. Really puts me in it and I feel how I'd feel if I were in that position, it's great. Song is amazing too btw

  • u gotta admit watching like it this is much better than with the banjo melody at the end ruinning the emotional parts...

  • what's the song at the end?

  • @JuiceO12 "Sideways" by Citizen Cope

  • @Megatonaxe sad song

  • never saw ted that happy... maybe the only thing he enjoyed more would be playing jiggly ball with kelso

  • wow one of the saddest ending of the series

  • Scrubs is probably one of the best series in the whole fucking world. At first i though scrub only was comedy, but it got allot of emotional scenes too, amazing!

  • I can really hate Kelso sometimes...

  • if i were JD i'd play along and say that the janitor is it next :P

  • "Bob, I'm physically touching your arm now..."

  • I love scrubs :)

  • What's the ending song?

  • @BBonelessStudios

    sideways by Citizen Cope

  • bob, i can see you! for god sake you're 3-dimensional!

  • kelso wasn't in the wrong here

  • why was dr cox so upset ? one of the patients had to die and the rich one surviving would be better for the hospital and the other patients...

  • @donaldduckftw93 because dr cox thought that dr kelsp didnt care that the other one was going to die

  • @donaldduckftw93 he was upset because Kelso didn't show any compassion

  • "I think there's something wrong with my spine, 'cuz I'm not doing that."

  • when kelso is whistling at the end, He Looks, Sounds, and walks just As my grandpa...

  • SO NOW A BROTHER CAN'T SWIM?

  • Why wasn't Dr. Cox in the Jigglyball game!?

  • “but it is officially hot” XD

  • Anyone know the name of that song at the very end?

  • @kensei990 Sideways by Citizen Cope

  • shes the idiot... were doctors haha

  • "I LIKE this. It's an idiot handle."

  • "I paid for my rolo's, I'm getting my rolo's"

  • Have you been to the Y on men night mm mm not me . .. ha ha

  • "are you stuck in that candy machine?"

"I paid for my rollos, i'm gettin my rollos."

    LOL

  • Am I the only one who found the Jiggly Ball punishment to be a bit... harsh?

I mean, there have been some rather harsh moments, like the time JD was hung up like a flag, but that was so silly and all it involved was him waiting. This just seemed... brutal, just for being a bit prideful. As this episode proves, JD's not the only one who has that flaw, and being pummeled half to death just seems way too far for that.

That said, I love Scrubs. :P

  • @HeyShayMay But it wasn't real... It was just to be funny.

  • @HeyShayMay I'm pretty sure the epic wedgie the surgeons gave him was worse

  • @HeyShayMay Well JD brought it all on himself when he stuck that penny in the door, if he didn't do that none of that would have ever happened to him lol.

  • @darthnowlan So getting pummeled half to death is an acceptable response to accidentally sticking a penny in a door?

I know, I know, it's a comedy and it's not supposed to be fair, etc. but if my friends did that to me because I was being a bit prideful, I would really reconsider who my friends are.

  • @HeyShayMay True if that happened to me I'd move to a different hospital or country to get away from my so called 'friends'.

  • @darthnowlan Move country, dude shut the fuck up.

  • @jpT1213 Real mature comment to a joke asshole.

  • @darthnowlan they love JD, they were just messin with him.

  • @HeyShayMay He wasn't pummeled half to death. And the Janitor does it too JD because he was being a douche to Laverne (black nurse) earlier on in the episode.

Fortunately JD can take a joke and isn't a stuck up little bitch like HeyShayMay.

  • @jpT1213 ...Was that last part really necessary? The funny thing is, I'd actually consider the first part of your comment a pretty good point, JD was being a douche, and it does go some way to balancing the scales, in my eyes. I still think it's a bit harsh, but not quite so much, now that you've mentioned that.

Anyway, it was just my take on the episode. Scrubs is still brill, and I'm sorry if I offended you by not liking a 45-second scene. Peace.

  • holy shit Kelso has STD's!!!

  • Props to Ken Jenkins. Kelso is an incredibly complex character. He goes from evil to goofy to serious, and in episodes like these, we get to see the nuances of his personality acted out to perfection. One of the best supporting roles in television. Bravo, Mr. Jenkins.

  • @AllUpOns13

kelso is a main character u know....... just sayin

  • Scrubs plays the PERFECT songs for whatever going on in the episode at the time.....this show is the greatest TV of all time...and I'm a black man who thought MARTIN could never be topped.....LOL,,,

  • "I'd like for you to think of this as a corn muffin." Ahh, gotta love Laverne.

  • I think Dr. Kelso had to make that decision, plus it's not like the rich guy wasn't dying of the tumor as well.

  • i think theres something wrong with my spine because im not doing that...

  • one of the few episodes where we see Dr.Cox care about people

  • @SMA2343 erm, kelso??

  • I wish their were more endings that showed Kelso's compassion

  • I respect Dr. Kelso, incredibly strong character, but not invincible.

  • I paid for my rolos. im getting my rolos! (:

  • I think there may be something wrong with my spine, because I'm not doing that.

    Haha, xD

  • what's the name of the song that's playin at the end?

"fine! turks the 1 whos drowning!"

"o so now brother cant swim!"

"y do u have to go there?"

"omg i would rather play jiggly ball then try to explain this to u 2 idiots!"

    *she's the idiot, were drs"\*

  • I was crying from laughter at 4:48.

"...I think there may be something wrong with my spine...because I'm not doing that."

Then two minutes later Kelso's humanity showing through had my heart breaking.

I have no words to explain how much I love this show..

  • i love how scrubs can make me happy and sad and pissed off all within 30 minutes the early season of this show ROCKS

  • "I payed for my rolo's, I'm gettin' my rolos. Tsh". LOL.

  • @Surgequake7 i'd do that for rolos too ^_^

  • It;\'s Sideways By Citizen Cope

  • @Shaonds I believe it's called Sideways.

  • if JD dropped a coin in the jar, why didn't he just turn it upside down and let the coin fall out?

  • @killa2000dec cuz hes jd

  • @killa2000dec Because he is John Damn Dorian.

  • @killa2000dec Because that would be the smart thing to do, and wouldn't fit in with the writing of that particular episode. He tried to pull it out because it was the idiotic thing to do lol =P

  • @killa2000dec

because he's JD, and it's just funny!! lol

  • @merdelune9 oh my god people please stop replying the same stuff to me

  • @killa2000dec

    lol

well, I think people keep on replying is because that's the second comment that we see on this video. I don't know who else said the same thing.

  • @FrederikKlarskov1996 for the 20th time i get it

  • @killa2000dec

    cus he is a retard

  • @killa2000dec It's JD.

  • what is the ending song??

  • i nearly cryed

  • @kibahina55 The reason they named this episode "My Jigglyball" is because the Jigglyball stands for how proud he was, and how he didn't want to admit he didn't know what it was. Almost every Scrubs episode's title has a double meaning you kind of have to think about for a second.

  • Aw Bob!... So you are human after all. Its great how Scrubs throws in episodes which show its more hardass characters in a different, more human, light. You never see Bob the same way again after this episode and you never see Perry Cox the same way after "My Lunch". Of course in both cases, especially Perry's, there had been hints of humanity under the shell, but still those episodes really showed it to you in a whole new way. R>I>P> Scrubs, you were really something.

  • when i saw kelso's look at the end it kinda hit me inside..

  • I would have named this episode 'My Pride'.

  • @kibahina55 I agree

  • @kibahina55: actually it is. "jiggly ball" stands for his pride, because he was too proud to admit he didn't know it.. i thinks it's knida clever to name this episode like that.

  • Whats the song at the end called?

  • @awsome19961 citizen cope - sideways

  • Something about end when Kelso touched the bottom step and had this sad look on his face made me feel bad for him.

  • @RageZer0 we all did, I sure as hell wouldn't want to have to make thous decisions
