I was scared to death! Yes, this video is authentic. It is so loud and piercing. I swear that thing was about 10 feet or less from my BR window. It was open and it took all the courage I had to run to the window, close it and lock it fast!!

I play bridge with the Jersey Devil every thursday. Nice guy. If im not mistaking I believe he said that on the day that this video was made, the cameramen had stumbled upon him having some "private time". Hence all the screaming.

I live in NJ-on Memorial Day 2008, that night at around 300 AM my brother and I both heard this thing (the SAME sound on this video) for over an hour at the edge of our parents property...its not a hoax-I thought so too until that night. My brother near fell over when I played this for him...we think it is some flying reptile bc it can move close and away quickly...u can believe me or not....

I live near Cuba, NY. I have heard nothing of this in the news, local or otherwise. It's a very small town in a rural area. If the girl had really died there, someone would have reported her missing and I would have heard about it. I would have heard about a body being found also. The video is a fake.

This video is a fake. #1 there is no reported recommendation on a girl going missing or reported to be killed in Cuba NY. #2 There have been no reported deaths of a jersey devil. and #3 If you listen carefully you can't here her in fear and those sounds are mostly bird sounds a crane proably i'm not sure. I live in NJ and ive been to Cuba NY I've never heard about this so it's a fake.

Even if it was prepaid it still has to be activated.. and im sure there woul be names on the cell phone, of friends family.. previous calls.. missed calls.. etc... So even it it were prepaid you can still track the user.. dont you think this idea has been thought of by Police and FBI to track criminals who think there smart using Prepaid? most phones these days have tracking in them..so parents can see where there kids go.;
