Wonderful! " Life is not just fiding a most confortable place to sit quietly and meditate in the middle of the desert somewhere far away from what is happening. Life is being in the space that is created around you, but being a beacon of light" words by Tony Samara
@samarafoundation it is possilble to be aware of stillness in the midst of everyday life, but first we have to experience that we are that stillness, not as an idea but in reality.According to Osho when questioned as to who he was, the Buddha said "I am awareness" that is so simple so beautiful, it escapes the mind, because it is outside the mind, beyond thought, but very awake.
Because the mind cannot grasp it, it denies it
To the mind a moment without thought without a " me" seems impossible.
Modern Physics tells us there is a real 'thing' called the past and the future as time is relative to the perceiver. The 'Now' spoken of in mystical traditions the world over is an eternal now that encompasses all time(s) ; past, present, and future. So I disagree on this one point that the future only exists in our mind as an idea - its as real as the 'present' which by the way is already 'past' ;)
@FletcherHabit The 'perciever' that it is relative to is always present within the present, percieving only takes place now. There is only now and all thoughts arise here. Thoughts of past, thoughts of future, thoughts of there, are no more than thoughts arising presently, in this placeless place of nowhere.
@FletcherHabit Everything he said is metaphorical. When says there is no tomorrow, i dont think he literally means it. Time is the fourth dimension so future, past and present are as real as left right and center. But i think what he means is that dwelling in tomorrow will only result in loss of now. Think of it logically. If you keep worrying and planning about a happier tomorrow, that tomorrow will never come because even in tomorrow you are worrying about other tomorrow. there is no tomorrow.
@FletcherHabit It is easier to understand once you see that the spiritual teachings are based on a completely different paradigm. Science is based in objective reality, and reason. Reason asserts that truth is only arrived at through deductive/intellectual means. But the world exists, outside of thought. Seeing, hearing... happens. Past/future however can not be experienced other than in thought.
i don't agree with osho on most things because he has a very bland it is what it is view on life and life is not always what it seems, but their is definitely allot of wisdom in him
@pimmelmannmann It's also easy to live it. It seems difficult because we are used to taking the difficult path instead of the natural path. "Deleting" our useless programming is difficult. Living the truth isn't. Throwing out the trash is.
@pimmelmannmann I understand your dilemma but the truth is we are living it anyway since there is no other possibility. Everything happens in the NOW, even our thoughts about yesterday and tomorrow. They are merely thoughts which when believed in create a dreamlike reality. But for the 'I' that believes itself to be separate from the whole and therefore in some illusion of control it is impossible.
There was an old men living alone in the forest. He was very old. And one day Death has come to take him away. Death: Your time has ended your grave awaits you. Old Men: Please give me one more day to prepare myself! Death: allright i will come back tomorow. Old men: Sorry my memory is not that what use to be can you write it down when. Death writes it down. 24 hours later. Death comes again. Death: you come with me now. OM: no look what you written. On the wall there was 1 word TOMORROW! :) :)
There is all tomorrow is life faith working with soft-ware not like your taste-dreams

You have completely misunderstood osho if you consider his perspective bland, frankly it's absurd that you think you even know what his view is...
