Too many of these cats don't know anything about the NFL since Vick came in. The Falcons had a couple decent years when he came in, but it was all downhill after that. They were a fringe playoff team at best in his last few years. Vick was a tremendous runner, but teams spyed him and were able to slow him down. The better teams made him pass and the Falcons would lose. You could argue he got worse as a passer throughout his career (look at his numbers) the more he committed to the run.

@HotDamnItsAdam I have to disagree. It wasn't because Vick couldn't pass, the receivers dropped a lot of balls. I remember seeing the ball hitting them in the hands and they dropped them. So Vick got to the point that he didn't trust his receivers. Now with the Eagles, they are catching his passes. We see how much of a passer he is, when receivers actually catch the ball.

Just look at how olympic track times have consistently dropped. I guarantee there will be a man faster than Usain Bolt soon. He didn't have much time to really show off much because: 1. he was suppose to only be used on trick plays 2. he hasn't started since 2006 so understandibly he wasn't exactly as sharp as his Falcons days. However, he showed he still has that speed and can make em miss (the 26 yrd run) the league better be ready for him, again

Too many of these cats don't know anything about the NFL since Vick came in. The Falcons had a couple decent years when he came in, but it was all downhill after that. They were a fringe playoff team at best in his last few years. Vick was a tremendous runner, but teams spyed him and were able to slow him down. The better teams made him pass and the Falcons would lose. You could argue he got worse as a passer throughout his career (look at his numbers) the more he committed to the run.

@HotDamnItsAdam I have to disagree. It wasn't because Vick couldn't pass, the receivers dropped a lot of balls. I remember seeing the ball hitting them in the hands and they dropped them. So Vick got to the point that he didn't trust his receivers. Now with the Eagles, they are catching his passes. We see how much of a passer he is, when receivers actually catch the ball.

@tamir19770 thats true to but i've seen this man throw the crapiest balls on third down when a receiver is wide open. he use to throw zips over their heads and throw behind them but they did drop alot of balls but the reason the team was such a running team is because the team didn't have confidence in his passing. and the reason he is doing good right now is because he worked so hard this off season which he admitted he was lazy in atlanta and never worked on his passing.
